Portfolio Test Manager OnePPM – CS IT and Business Project & Portfolio Management Tool

Jan 2013 – Sept 2014 • This tailored 3rd party application from Computer Associates (Clarity) (configured and

tailored by Accenture Information group) provides all global CS IT and Business Managers and Projects with the ability to manage and control all project information including Project setup, resourcing, time booking and financial controls.

• As Test Manager, the role was to plan and manage the test delivery for new functional and non-functional releases in both System Integration and User Acceptance phases. The responsibility focused on leading the test team in India and London to produce test deliverables in a changing methodology – from a traditional V-Model to a more agile/sprint approach.

• Main tasks and successes: o 8 major releases (2013-2014) tested resulting in successful production deployment. o Worked with Accenture’s requirements and software development teams to fulfil

test objectives o Managed, sustained and developed a suitable automation strategy and the

subsequent implementation into the project – using QTP. o Managed all 6 Load and Performance strategy and execution phases including Load,

Stress and Endurance tests. o Extensive co-ordination with interface application owners from the IT and Business

perspectives to plan, execute and report all E2E integration and interface testing. Performed from a global perspective as interfaces were tested from all regions.

o Responsible for the planning and allocation of test resource work in line with the main project plan for End to End and System and System Integration testing.

o Upgrade test process and documentation including Quality Centre attribute updating.

o Presented and established a new test design process into the project based on a type of agile approach

Project Manager – Global Transformation Testing Jan 2012 – December 2012 • As Project Manager within the Global Testing Department Group, deployed the following

into the IT PB Americas Testing Group (using effective monitoring and tracking techniques): o Global CS PB testing practices and standards as well as standardisation of tools into

the Americas IT PB testing group where there was a best fit for the local conditions o Harmonisation and improvement of stable and release managed software packages

into the Americas’ test environments using JIRA as a management and tracking tool. o Ensured the co-ordination with offshore partners in India that all Test cases in

Quality Center had been cleaned up by following the CS Quality Center guidelines. o Designed and implemented on boarding and knowhow transfer processes in

conjunction with Test Offshoring Manager. Some interaction with the Knowledge Management Manager.

• Worked closely with New York test team to implement strategic deliverables requiring travel to the New York offices of CS. Management & tracking of all required actions and issues focusing on PB America.

Senior Test Manager – Multiple Projects: Reputational Risk, Credit Options for SMEs and Synthetic Data application landscape Co-ordinator Oct 2011 – December 2011 • The Reputational Risk application is a high visibility management application tool that

is used globally within Credit Suisse. There is no current testing processes applied to the application development and I was invited to setup the testing processes including the setting up of Quality Center along with all relevant documentation for CMMi accreditation. o The application is using .Net and Java technologies. The application development

process was managed via JIRA. o Also responsible for the start of compiling end-to-end test cases including

regression test cases ready for a full handover to the full time test engineer in 2012.

• The Credit Option for SMEs and Synthetic data projects are test project co-ordination roles ensuring that all business and IT application owners provide sign-off for their own applications following the testing of credit applications (both System Integration and smoke testing).

Portfolio Test Manager – Credit Risk - (EUROM Programme) Jan 2011 – October 2011 Eurom was a pan-European program to ensure that, across the banking divisions, CS credit risk management applications could be used in several regional CS Business centres ensuring multi-currency compatibility – achieved successful deployment: • Over multiple locations within Switzerland, successfully managed and deployed the

testing of 15 credit risk applications that were rolled out to PB operations in Luxembourg and Austria.
