Starting salary is $13.049/hr. Applicants should be 18 years of age or over, and hold a valid Alabama Drivers License. Proficiency in the use of computers and other routine office equipment is required. Must have the ability to understand and follow complex oral and written directions, work safely in a jail environment around inmates and work shift work. Satisfactory completion of jail certification courses required after hired. Competitive salary and excellent benefits including paid health, dental and life insurance, retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, disability income coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick pay. Successful applicant must pass both a drug test and a full driving and criminal background check.
