CORRECTIONS OFFICER
The City of Foley is accepting applications for a Corrections Officer to be hired immediately and to
develop a roster of qualified Corrections Officers to fill future positions within the Police Department.
Starting salary is $13.049/hr. Applicants should be 18 years of age or over, and hold a valid Alabama
Drivers License. Proficiency in the use of computers and other routine office equipment is required. Must
have the ability to understand and follow complex oral and written directions, work safely in a jail
environment around inmates and work shift work. Satisfactory completion of jail certification courses
required after hired.
