CorelDRAW® 2017 Plug-In CutStudio Version 3.00

Requirements
This document outlines how to install the CorelDRAW 2017 Plug-In for Roland CutStudio with Windows. You will need to download and install CorelDRAW 2017 before you begin the steps outlined below. You will also need to log into your computer as an “Admin”.
Instructions
1. Go to the Roland DGA Support Site and download the “CutStudio CorelDRAW Plugin for Windows Version 3.00” zip file.

2. Save the zip file to your desktop and extract the files.
3. Then go to the following directoy and create a new folder. “C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2017\Draw”

4. Name the new folder “GMS”.
5. Copy all the files from the downloaded and extracted folder and paste the files to the following directory: “C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2017\Draw\GMS”.

6. Launch CorelDRAW 2017 and create a new document. Go to “Tools - Customization”.
7. Under the “Workplace” column go to “CustomizationCommands” and from the dropdown menu select “Macros”.

8. Highlight “ThisMacroStorage.ShowCutStudioPlugIn” and then click on the “Appearance” tab.
9. Click on “Browse” and find the icon file named “CutStudioPlugIn.ico” that you just copied to the GMS folder.

10. Select the CutStudioPlugIn.ico file and click “Open”.
11. Then click “OK”.

12. Drag the “ThisMacroStorage.ShowCutStudioPlugin” to the toolbar. Then click “OK”.
13. Create your design and when you are ready to output to CutStudio, click the plug-in icon in the toolbar.

14. Make your selections in the Roland CutStudio window and click the “CutStudio” icon.
15. The desired output will now appear in CutStudio. Select the “Cutting” icon when you are ready to send the cut file to your cutter.
