technological innovation and the transfer
of their results in order to train and
perfect its students and teaching and
research staff and to cooperate in the
cultural, scientific, social, economic and
territorial development of Society,
promoting a fairer, more caring world, as
well as defending human rights, and
responsible, equitable, sustainable
development, equality and peace. These
aims extend to the international ambit, as
reflected in the Statute’s Third Additional
Provision which expresses explicitly the
University’s commitment to collaborating
with developing countries.

A título enunciativo, las acciones
formativas que se ofrecerán a la

consistir en cursos, jornadas, talleres,
mesas redondas, y actividades
prácticas.
By way of illustration, the training actions
that might be offered to the Community
of the University of Seville could include
courses, symposia, workshops, round
tables, and practical activities.
TERCERA.- ADMISIÓN Y RESERVA
DE PLAZAS
THIRD.- ADMISSION AND
RESERVATIONS
La admisión y consiguiente
participación de los miembros de la
Universidad de Sevilla tendrá en
general carácter abierto e
interdisciplinar, sin limitaciones
derivadas de la titulación de las
personas solicitantes, aunque en caso
de exceso de demanda podrá darse
prioridad a las titulaciones más
relacionadas con la actividad
formativa.
The admission and subsequent
participation of the University of Seville
members will, in general, be open and
multidisciplinary with no limitations
arising from the applicants’ university
studies. However, should there be an
excessive demand for places, priority will
be given to those studies which are most
closely related to the training action.
CUARTA.- RÉGIMEN ACADÉMICO FOURTH.- ACADEMIC REGIMEN

SEXTA.- COMISIÓN DE
SEGUIMIENTO
SIXTH- OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

SÉPTIMA.- PRESUPUESTO SEVENTH.- BUDGET
El presupuesto de la mencionada
actividad está incluido en la

del presente Convenio derive para la
Universidad de Sevilla obligación
económica alguna.
The budget for the abovementioned
activity is included in Entidad’s budget,
so that this present Agreement makes no
financial demand upon the University of
Seville whatsoever.
OCTAVA.- PROPIEDAD
INTELECTUAL
EIGHTH.- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Toda la documentación que se
produzca como consecuencia de las
actuaciones contempladas en
desarrollo del presente Convenio, y
sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en la
Sección Segunda del Capítulo III del
Título II del Libro I de la Ley de
Propiedad Intelectual, aprobada por
Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996, de
12 de abril, será propiedad de las
partes, y podrá utilizarse por ambas

DÉCIMA.- PROTECCIÓN DE DATOS TENTH.- DATA PROTECTION
El régimen de protección de datos de
carácter personal que han de cumplir
las partes en las actuaciones que se
desarrollen en ejecución del presente
convenio será el previsto en, en lo que
afecte a cada una de ellas, a las
disposiciones de la Ley Orgánica
3/2018 de 5 de diciembre, de
Protección de Datos Personales y
garantía de los derechos digitales y
del Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 Del
Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo,

information, whatever the type or nature
that is generated as the result of the
execution of this present Agreement; this
obligation will extend into the indefinite
future, even after the termination of this
present Agreement. This does not
prejudice the possible authorisation by
the Parties or ,where appropriate, such
information is later considered as made
public domain.

UNDÉCIMA.- NATURALEZA ELEVENTH.- NATURE
El presente convenio, queda fuera del
ámbito de aplicación del artículo 6.1
de la Ley 9/2017, de 8 de noviembre,
de Contratos del Sector Público, por la
que se transponen al ordenamiento
jurídico español las Directivas del
Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo
2014/23/UE y 2014/24/UE, de 26 de
febrero de 2014, siguiéndose en su
interpretación y desarrollo por el
contenido de sus estipulaciones y por
el resto de la normativa de derecho
privado que resultase de aplicación.
This present Agreement is excluded from
the application of Article 6.1 of the Law of
9/2017 of November 8th, that regulates
Public Sector Contracts which
transposes the European Parliament and
European Council Directives 2014/23/EU
and 2014/24/EU of February 26th 2014
into the Spanish Legal Order, its
interpretation and development being
followed by the content of its stipulations
and by the rest of the applicable rules
governing private Law
DUODÉCIMA.- DURACIÓN TWELFTH.- DURATION
El presente ACUERDO entrará en
vigor en el momento de su firma y, de
acuerdo con la Ley 40/2015 de
Régimen Jurídico del Sector Público,
en su artículo 49.h), su vigencia será
de cuatro años, prorrogable de forma
expresa por un periodo de hasta
cuatro años adicionales, salvo
denuncia por cualquiera de las partes
realizada con tres meses de
antelación al final de cada período del
tiempo inicialmente establecido o de
cualquiera de sus prórrogas.

force the moment that it is signed and,
according to Law 40/2015 of the Legal
Regime of the Public Sector (Art. 49.h), it
will be valid for four years and can be
renewed expressly for a period of up to
four additional years unless express
notice of termination is given by any one
of the Parties three months before the
end of the period of time initially
established, or three months before the
end of any of its extensions.
