NHS Patients Patient Choice means that patients have a right to choose where they receive their NHS treatment and this includes independent hospitals such as The McIndoe Centre. The McIndoe Centre is a qualified provider and offers certain NHS services without charge to the patient.

Patients can be referred via the NHS e-Referral Service and can select the time, date and place of their treatment. The services available at The McIndoe Centre are listed on the NHS e-Referral Service web portal.

Insured patients Patients with private medical insurance who would like to choose The McIndoe Centre for their treatment will need to check with their insurer that they are covered for the treatment they require, including outpatient appointments. We are recognised by the majority of medical insurance companies. If patients experience any issues accessing our services via their insurance company, they should not hesitate to contact us so that we may provide assistance.

Self pay patients Patients can self pay which means paying for their own procedures, treatments and services themselves following an initial consultation. They will get a tailored, inclusive price for treatment based on their condition. Initial consultation and pre-op diagnostics are not included in the treatment package price.
