Pre-Conference Workshops• Take the G:link to Gold Coast University Hospital Station or park
in Theatres Lane car park
• Make your way to Building G17
• Registration begins at 8:00am
• Full Day Workshops begin at 9:00am and finish at 4:00pm
• Half Day workshop begins at 9:00am and finishes at 12:30pm
• Morning and afternoon tea provided. Lunch provided for full day workshop registrants.

• Communication and Access for Children who have Severe Physical Challenges and Cortical Visual Impairment. Presented by Linda Burkhart.
• Daring to Dream: Turning Your Dreams into Future Realities. Presented by Jennifer Seale, Beth Moulam and Melinda Smith.
• Half Day Workshop• Evidence-Based Practice in Aided Language Modelling/Aided
Language Stimulation. Presented by Samuel Sennott.

• Comprehensive Approaches to Literacy in AAC. Presented by Penny Hatch and Lori Geist.
• The Lived Experience of Speaking through a Speech Generating Device. Presented by Kathy Howery.
AAC Camp• At Currumbin Community Special School (best reached
by car)
• Camp begins at 9:30am on Saturday and 9:00am on Sunday
• Campers BYO meals and prepare to have lots of fun!
Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre
• Take the G:link to Broadbeach North station or park at the Centre's car park
• Make your way to reception to register
• Enjoy the conference!
Registration at GCCEC• Open from 9:00 to 5:00 Sunday 22 for those who want to
get a jump on the queue!

• If you have pre-ordered a G:link pass and are staying at the Crowne Plaza you will be provided with it as you check-in
• Or you can collect your G:link pass from the lobby at the Crowne Plaza from 3 – 6pm on Friday 20th
• Or you can collect it when you register
Silent Auction• Please bring along an item to contribute
• Items go on Auction on Monday and sales are finalized at 12:30 on Wednesday
• Winners need to pay for and then collect items Wednesday afternoon
• Proceeds go to the ISAAC Conference Travel Grant
Social Events• Monday 6pm Welcome Reception
• Tuesday 7pm President’s Reception
Both of these events are included in a four day conference registration
• Wednesday 7pm Social Evening
This event is sold out. If you have a ticket, buses will be departing GCCEC at 5:45pm
