OUTLINE mETHODOLOGyIan Coombes Ltd is a nationwide company. Our head office is based in Christchurch with branches in Wellington, Auckland & melbourne. We have a full workshop/manufacturing facility ensuring we are well prepared to staff any project, providing efficient design, manufacturing & installation services.

We have developed over the year’s longstanding relationships with suppliers of filtration & pumping, disinfection equipment, pipe, fittings, valves & other pool related products which ensures we have no problems procuring equipment.

With dedicated project managers & in house 3D CAD facilities we are well placed to provide drawings, engineering & design as required & are committed to the management of the overall project or manufacture of some of the unique equipment required by this industry. We pride ourselves on delivering projects on time as required by the client. Each project we undertake is thoroughly mapped out to enable us to work in with the main contractors program as effectively as possible.

We specialize in prefabricating components off site in our locally based warehouse enabling us to minimize site time & provide the flexibility that the head contractor requires to move the project forward. This approach allows us to satisfy all the stakeholders from builder to the end user meaning a smoother process for all involved.

We provide a complete solution with a professional site installation service to any size project where quality is monitored & maintained throughout the project.

mt manganui Hot PoolsThis project, commissioned in September 2011 is an outdoor community pool complex consisting of a 25m Active Pool, Passive. Toddlers and 2 outdoor spas.

The pool water services for this project included:

Pumping & Vacuum media Filtration for all systems Piping for all the above (PE, CPVC, PVC) Chemical Control Systems using Sodium Hypo and C02 Pumps, piping, valves etc for water features

Duration of Pool water services was 12 weeks (completed September 2011)

Norman Kirk memorial PoolThis project, commissioned December 2010 is a Community Pool complex consisting of an outdoor 25 metre pool, a 25 metre indoor heated pool, spa pool, leisure pool and toddlers pool.

The pool water services for this project included:

Pumping and pressure media filtration for all above systems Piping for all of the above (PVC and ABS) Chemical control systems using Sodium Hypochlorite and CO² Heat exchangers Overflow channel grating. Pumps, piping, valves etc. for water features

Duration of pool water services was 18 months (completed December 2010).

Hanmer Springs Thermal PoolsThis project, commissioned in December 2010 is a recreational pool complex consisting of a heated out-door 25 metre pool, 3 x water sensations pools, a children’s aqua-play area and a Super Bowl water slide.

The pool water services for this project included:

Pumping and pressure media filtration for all above systems Piping for all of the above. Chemical control systems using Sodium Hypochlorite and CO² Heat exchangers Pumps, piping, valves etc. for water features Pool thermal covers.

Duration of pool water services was 6 months (Completed December 2010).

Solid Energy Centre – WestportThis project is a new swimming pool complex commissioned in April 2009. It included a new 25m Pool, learn to swim pool and Leisure/Toddlers Pool.

The pool water services for this project include:

Pumping and sand filtration for all above systems UV disinfection for all pools Piping for all of the above (PVC) Chemicla control systems unsing sodium hypochlorite and Co2
