Transport of glass around a glassworks is probably one of the most complex – and often dangerous – jobs that are carried out each day. Glassworks therefore need machines suitable for this type of transport, with the highest level of precision and safety ensured. OCS Glass presents its machinery and systems for this type of work.

Lifting tongs

OCS has three different types of tongs to lift and transport glass sheets:

Manipulators

Manipulators are the most recent products develo-ped by OCS. This type of equipment is particularly useful in repetitive opera-tions or where loading and unloading of glass from the storage systems need to be carried out quickly, for

and Y linear cutting. This machine has been desig-ned and constructed for SMEs, often with limi-ted budget but who want a complete product with ease of use. As for all cut-ting tables, the TCA3200 has a sturdy and elegant structure, with three cut-ting bars, a powerful air cushion and hydraulic til-ting, carrying out fast and precise cutting. The cut-ting bridge uses brushless motors with belt transmis-sion, thus ensuring real-ly silent movements with Numerical Control. The table is equipped with double zeros for laminated glass cutting managed by optimization programme. Standard glass size: 3,210 x 2,600 millimetres.

There is also the possibility of picking up the glass from more than one rack one after the other by motorizing the loaders and using tracks.
