Free Luncheon Mark your calendar for March 27, the date of “Lunch with Bo b” – Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano. A free lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The menu includes lemon chicken with sauce, brown rice, glazed carrots, wheat bread, apple juice, gelatin and milk. The day will include a discussion about seniors’ information and activities, a gifts raffle and bingo. Please RSVP by March 23. Thank you! Thanks to everyone who supported and donated to the February blood drive at the Senior Center. Also thanks to the person who visited but was unable to donate. Daylight Savings Mark your calendar for March 11, when Daylight Savings Time goes into effect. Set your clock ahead one hour. Red Hatters The sassy Red Hatters group will meet at noon March 8. Everyone is invited to join them for lots of fun. Romulus seniors are invited to visit the Motor City Casino on Tuesday, March 20. A bus leaves at 9 a.m. from the Romulus Senior Center, 36525 Bibbins. The cost is $10 per person. The casino provides $20 in credit upon arrival. Seating is limited. Free Tax ServicesThe Senior Center offers free tax services to senior citizensages 60 and older, handicapped persons and low-incomeindividuals on Thursdays. Services are provided byappointment only. Participants in theprogram are asked to provide:• Unemployment compensation statement• SSA-1099 Interest/Dividends• 1099 R Interest Dividends and 1099 Pension/Annuity

Free Legal RepresentationThe Elder Law & Advocacy Center offers free general legalrepresentation and individual assistance to persons age 60and older. Guidance from the experienced legal staff isprovided in the following areas: guardianship,conservatorship, wills, trusts, power of attorney, nursinghome, assisted living, senior housing, Medicaid, Medicare,elder security abuse and scams.

Caregiver Support GroupFamily caregivers are invited to take part in acaregiver support group that will meet from 10a.m. to Noon March 28 in the Board Room of the Romulus Senior Center.

Family caregivers are not alone on theircaregiving journey. Hope is present as youbecome surrounded by caring people who willtake the time to listen and provide help if
