There are more details for Ayesha radi allahu anha from all the wives of Nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه because

she was like a scholar. She was very intelligent and she had a lot of knowledge.

Nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه was fair with all the women but you can’t control the heart. So he had more love

for Ayesha radi allahu Anha. Don’t think there is no love in the religion, the religion is about love and it is

not only about commands and prohibition.

Ayesha radi allahu anha was known for her gheera, she was little jealous.

1. Once nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه was with her and she was sleeping and he was praying. So he

checked on her and came to know that she is pretending and not sleeping. And nabi صلى هللا

وسلمعليه slowly wore clothes and went out, and she quickly went out and followed him

thinking he وسلمصلى هللا عليه will visit his other wives. And she saw Nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه go

to the grave and he stood there and made dua. When she saw nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه is

coming back, she quickly ran back and went into the blanket. And nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه saw

the blanket coming up and down because of her rapid breathing due to running. He صلى هللا

وسلمعليه said that, “what is this ayesh, were you jealous?” She said, “for somebody like

you, how can I not be jealous?” And she quickly changed the topic, and asked: “what did

you make dua for? “She was very curious and never missed a chance to learn and study.

She use to ask nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه so many things, and as she was in the house of nabi صلى هللا

وسلمعليه she learned all the time. Nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه appointed one day in the week for all

ladies for learning, but for her it was not enough. If she didn’t understand anything, she will not

rest until she asks him. She was very inquisitive and she wouldn’t get settle until she didn’t get

the information about it. If she listened something from the nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , she will ask

him.

2. One time, nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه was giving dars (lecture) and said , “anybody being

accountable on day of judgment, he will be punished.” And no one questioned him but she

said, “Didn’t Allah say in the Quran that their account will be made easy”.

Then nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه said, “ for a person easy reckoning will be that he will not be

asked for each and everything, he will be shown his deeds (a display), but those who will be

punished, for them every detail will be asked”

3. Another time, Ayesha radi Allahu anha was reading the Quran and it was surah Ibrahim

“the earth and sky will be changed and all of them it will appear in front of Allah, and other

she was reading “ all the earth will be grasped by Allah’s hand and He will roll the heaven

and sky in his hand”. So she went to the prophet وسلمصلى هللا عليه and asked, “Where will be

people at this time? ya rasool Allah ”. nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , they will be at sirat (bridge).

4. She heard one time nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , “ people, they will be gathered on day of

judgment, naked” . She said, “If everybody will be naked then will the man and woman look

at each other” nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , “the matter is greater will be the concern of being

naked”.

5. Then another time she asked nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , “ya rasool Allah! Will two lovers

remember each other on Day of Judgment? The prophet وسلمصلى هللا عليه , “ya Ayesha, they

will remember but in three occasion, they will not remember each other.” He said, “When

there is meezaan, when the books are being spread, even if the Habib is sitting next to each

other, they won’t remember, and when the hell fire will come out of the neck of hell”.

6. One time, she radi allahu anha asked nabi وسلمى هللا عليه صل , “what about disbeliever, if they

did good deeds? “she said, “this Abdullah ibn jada’an, he was very good person and was a

counselor, and he was peacemaker but he was a disbeliever, and he was very good with

neighbors and with his relatives;I remember him, will this amaal (good deeds) benefit

him?” He وسلمصلى هللا عليه said, “no, ya Ayesha, never!” he said , “Disbeliever when they do

good, their reward in this duniya (world)”

7. She was also curious about jihad, she radi allahu anha said, “why, women don’t go to jihad”

(because there is so much reward for it), so nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه said, “your (women) jihad

is your haj”.

8. Nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه emphasized a lot about neighbors, so she asked that I have two

neighbors and I have one thing to give, so to whom should I give?” So nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه

answered, “The one, whose door is closer to your house”.

9. One time her uncle (given milk from the same mother, not blood related), he took

permission to enter into the house of Ayesha radi Allahu anha to see. She refused, when

nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه came, she asked nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه and he told her, this is your

uncle, bring him inside. So she said, “ ya rasool Allah, the one who breastfed me is a mother

not a man” Then nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه said, “let him come”

10. There is ayah in surah al muminoon “there are people, they will give what they have while

their heart is so much in fear and they will return to their lord.” She said, “ya rasool Allah, is

this ayah for sinners”. he said” la , ya binti as-sadeeq (no, o daughter of as-sadeeq), this

ayah is for those who fast, pray and do good deeds while their heart is full of fear of Allah”.

11. One time, the wives of nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه wanted more money from the prophet as the

Muslims were prospering, and they saw other women of sahabas were getting more

money. So they went to the prophet and said, “We want more money from you”. He

became angry and he swore that he will not enter and boycott them for a month till Allah

decide. It was very difficult for the wives so the ayah was revealed and the matter was

decided by Allah. And it was not thirty days but twenty-nine. He وسلمصلى هللا عليه started

with Ayesha and she was very happy that he went to her first. But still she said, ya rasool

Allah, you swore not to come to us for one month and today it is twenty nine”. Then nabi

وسلمصلى هللا عليه told her, “ the month is thirty and twenty-nine days”
