Snowboard/Ski Trip- December 1 Deadline, December 16 trip

The church will be taking a trip up to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain for a fun filled day of boarding and skiing. We will be going Sunday December 16th, we will meet at the church at 6:45AM and the bus will depart at 7:15AM SHARP. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Waivers and money must be in by Saturday December 1. For more detail contact Matthew Burton [email protected] or (909) 747-WWJD (9953).

Youth Movie Night- Tonight

The youth are invited to a movie night Saturday November 10 at 7PM. We will be watching the movie Unstoppable based on a true story, be advised parents this is an action movie with some intense action scenes but no violence or shooting . Snacks will be provided.

ANNOUNCEMENTSTODAY: 1) INTERNET PRAYER TEAM: Our church Internet prayer team is willing to pray for both short and long term requests. Should you have a request, or a praise please place in the prayer request box in the church foyer, or e mail it to Deanne Joseph [email protected] ALL REQUESTS WILL BE HANDLED CONFIDENTIALLY. Just one request, PLEASE KEEP DEANNE UPDATED ON ANY PROGRESS, CHANGES, and ANSWERS TO PRAYER. This will not only inspire and encourage, but we can thank and praise God for His goodness. 2) PRAYER MINISTRY: at 8:45am each Sabbath morning a group from the prayer net ministry team will meet in the Minister's room behind the platform. We will be praying for the church its leaders, teachers and worshippers that the Holy Spirit will be in full control. Anyone who would like to join us will be welcome. 3) AFTERGLOW: Each week after the Church service, Lee Heath & Dorothy Pulley will lead out in the Afterglow prayer session. They will meet in the Overflow Room to the right of the Sanctuary. Anyone who would like to join them will be welcome. If you have special prayer need, feel free to come and be prayed with. 4) SABBATH SCHOOL COUNCIL POTLUCK: today after church. 5) HANDBELL CHOIR PRACTICE: at 3:00pm in the kindergarten room. 6) ELDER CARE MUSIC MINISTRY: today at 3:00pm at Braswell’s on 4th Street. 7) SERVING HANDS MINISTRY: 5:00pm in the fellowship hall. NEXT WEEK: 8) STRESS SOLUTIONS PROGRAM: Monday, at 6:30pm. 9) FULL PLATE DIET: Tuesday, 6-7:00pm

We are doing a special study and/or review of “the Discover Bible Studies” by The Voice of Prophecy with guidance in presenting them to others. 11) PATHFINDERS: Wednesday, 6:25pm. 12) ADVENTURERS: Wednesday, 6:30pm. 13) PRAYER EXPERIENCE: Wednesday 6:30 to 7:30 in the Sanctuary. Good music, praise and much prayer. Come, bring your requests. Prayer groups for Health & Healing, Guidance, Grief, and Family, children & grandchildren. Pray silently, if praying out loud is not for you. Come & enjoy this mid-week uplift. 14) SENIOR FELLOWSHIP LUNCH: Next Sabbath please bring an entree, vegetable, salad, or bread etc. Dessert will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you there. 15) PATHFINDER PIE AUCTION: next Sabbath at 6:00pm. See insert.

16) SERVING HANDS MINISTRY: is cancelled next week due to Thanksgiving.

UPCOMING EVENTS FOR CHURCH CALENDAR: 17) CLEOPATRA EXIBITION AND SPACE SHUTTLE: CHANGE OF DATE: December 9. You must have money in by Tuesday November 20 to reserve your tickets. If you do not have the money in by then you will be taken off the list as we have to purchase the tickets. Cost is Seniors $19.25, Adults $20.75, Children under 18 $15.00. 18) THE ADVENTIST PHILOSOPHY OF HEALTH: for three Tuesday nights, starting Nov. 20, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The cost is $10/ person or $15/family. Bring a friend.
