    Thank you to the sixth formers for organising a

    neon themed disco last week for the Year 8

    students. Everyone had a fantastic time and lots

    of money was raised which will be donated tocharity. Thank you to all those Year 8 students

    Year 8 Neon Disco

    U13s & U16s Girls Table Tennis

    competition took place at RPA. U13s won

    their pool and went on to the final where

    they lost on points balance to Greycourt.

    Congratulations to all the girls.

    The Year 7 Football Team won their 2nd

    Round County Cup match against Stanley

    Park 4-1. Well done boys!

    The Year 8/9 Basketball Team won

    their match against Orleans Park on

    Tuesday 25-24, with Ridley Shema scoring

    the golden basket in overtime!

    This week our very own

    Alexander McCartney of 7THO

    was awarded a very rare Gold

    Blue Peter badge -only awarded for outstanding

    achievements -for raising over 7,500 for charity

    by completing a sponsored walk. He was

    presented with his badge in Assembly by a proud Mrs Dixon.

    Congratulations Alexander!

    The students enjoyed making poppies to wear on RemembranceDay, with Ms Busby. They hand made the felt for the petals and

    made the middle using a rolling technique. The students cut the

    leaf from pre made felt. Ms Conteh sold the remaining poppies on

    fire work night raising approximately 16 for the poppy appeal.

    We are so excited to inform you that the profit from this

    year's fireworks evening amounted to approximately

    5,000!

    Thank you to everyone who

    helped make this such a fantastic

    evening. The PTA is holding its next meeting at

    school on 12th January at 7pm. We are always

    happy to receive suggestions for events, and remind
