Dear Friends, This is a season of firsts for us: our first season out of Africa and our first opportunity to share our gorgeous range of kids’ clothing with retailers in the US and Europe. At Kampala Fair, we are all so excited about spreading our wings and reaching out to new audiences across the globe. It’s also an opportunity for us to take on new members of our team in Kampala, providing jobs and security for more women and widening the impact we can have on poverty here. Moving from women’s apparel into kids’ fashion is daunting but exciting, and we are absolutely sure that this range has everything it takes to make a kid happy! Comfortable design and cut that means they can run, skip, stretch and play, plus happy, vibrant colors make our range a winner with all the kids who’ve tried them. And between us, we know a lot of kids… Every season brings new, stunning fabrics into the markets of Kampala, and means our kids’ clothes will always be fresh and fun. And you can be sure our clothes are made with pride by a team paid a good salary that means they can support their families, educate their children, and invest in their futures. Our team here - Jane, Judith, Beatrice, James, Fred, Justine, Vivian, Ruth, Jameo, Medius, Davis and Simon – have lots of stories to tell about what Kampala Fair means to them, but Ruth can sum it up: ‘I feel good about Kampala Fair, because fair means pretty and it also means fair to the people who work here’. We hope you’ll feel good about Kampala Fair too as you look through these images, and come away inspired as much by the colors of the fabrics and the flair of the designs as by our story. At Kampala Fair, we want to make everyone’s lives brighter! Thank you for being a part of that dream. Best, Mette & Louise

Kids love to play – it’s what they do, right? At Kampala Fair, we make clothes that give kids the freedom to move, in breathable cotton that won’t constrict them, and in colors that are fun, fun, fun!

Cleo Tunic (1121)

The beautiful fabrics are highly durable, so buy a dress, and your little one can wear it as a tunic with pants as she grows. But we sell tunics too if you can’t wait!
