Positive stress can be referred to as eustress Negative stress can

Alarm Stage: High Alert -Fight or flight -Limbic system= instinct
Resistance Stage: Your body adapts to thecontinued presence of the
stressor, uses up a lot ofenergy Exhaustion Stage: your body can no
longer keep upwith demands placed on it Alarm: Body releases
adrenaline and fight or flight Resistance: may not have same
symptoms but still using a lot of energy Exhaustion: Physical and
emotional resources are depleted. This stage doesnt always happen
