MESSAGE GOAL:The goal of this session is to help you to develop the “Right” Biblical attitude about Ministry Partner Development.
MAIN POINTS OF THIS SESSION:By the end of this message, you will be able to:1 Understand the importance of having a right attitude.2 Know the difference between “Right” and “Wrong” attitude.3 Learn three ways to improve your attitude towards DMPD.
The Importance of the Right Biblical Attitude
1 Understand the importance of having the right attitude.
No matter how much you study about how to do things “the right way” like, how to ask properly for contacts, you will inevitably do it the wrong way to the degree that your attitude is wrong Biblically.
If you have a bad attitude, you’ll think and act like a beggar. If you have a right attitude, you’ll consider yourself as an ambassador, a child of God.
You have the privilege of helping them to lay up treasure in Heaven where it will count for something eternal. What can they do with their money anyway but spend it, waste it, or invest it, and this is a way to invest it in something eternal.
The 10/80/10 principle.
2 Know the difference between Right and Wrong Attitudes.
People can only do 3 things with their money – spend it, waste it or invest it. One can invest in the temporal or in the eternal. We are asking people to invest in the eternal.
Give people the opportunity to invest in
the eternal!
1) Take your Attitude Medicine.
3 Learn three things to make your attitude better regarding DMPD.

2) Do DMPD as a group. Observe and Critique each other during appointments and calling times.
Participate enthusiastically during Sharing Times.
3) Plan to give generously to others in need.When you are generous, you understand what motivates people to invest in you, giving you courage to meet and challenge potential new Ministry Partners.
3 Learn three things to make your attitude better regarding DMPD.
Listen to the Attitude Messages daily.
Learn from one other by doing DMPD as a group.
Give generously to others in need.
