Livingstone® is an eco-friendly product that uses stone parts derived from marble processing that are joined together using a low-temperature process that permits less energy use in the processes and reduced emission of CO2 in the environment.

The Livingstone® panels have been designed and created to also be used with renewable energy sources. The heat and power from the sun, transformed into electric energy, are collected and accu-mulated in the radiant panels. Livingstone® is the radiator that accumulates heat.

The panels function by means of radiation technology: the temperature is uniform across the entire radiator surface. The heat is directly transferred to the room and the people over the entire surface, permitting high efficiency and reducing consumption and the amount of time required to reach a comfortable condition.

Unlike traditional radiators, Livingstone® mainly transfers heat by radiation, avoiding the move-ment of air and dust. Allergies and sensitisations can be avoided with cleaner air, with a product that is easier to clean.

Silent, non-invasive heat is diffused in the room where the radiant panel is installed. Livingstone® is suited for all areas of your home: kitchen, living room, bedrooms and all rooms with higher amounts of humidity, such as the bathroom.

Livingstone® is immediately operative and ready to heat the environment. It is installed by fixing the product on the wall and connecting the electrical power supply. All the panels have a room thermostat with a timer that is used to set the room comfort temperature and turn on the device according to a schedule.Once the desired temperature is reached, the control reduces the power, guaranteeing that the comfort condition will be maintained, while reducing consumption.

FULLY RECYCLABLE

PATENTED TECHNOLOGYThe Livingstone® marble powder radiant panels are the result of research and innovative, patented tech-nology. In this process, the marble powder, which is a waste product from the marble cutting process, is reutilised and agglomerated with a water base and an acrylic bond.

LOW-ENERGY CONSUMING PROCESSThe product is created using a process that is cold during all phases, from agglomeration of the powder to drying. Livingstone® is a product where the basic components, the marble parts, are joined together using a low-temperature process that permits less energy use in the processes and reduced emission of CO2 in the environment.

FULLY RECYCLABLEAt the end of their useful life, products with the Livingstone® technology and process can be recycled and crushed by means of mechanical compression. The crushed material in a powder form can also be reused in other areas and in other applications. Livingstone® is a new method of using material, which can be rep-resented circularly. The material flows through the various applications, various companies and products and is then used again in other products. During these circular passages, the quantity of energy used is minimal as the process takes place at low temperatures.

ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTThe product, during its entire use, has zero emissions.The product is created using a process at low temperatures: the marble dust is agglomerated using a cold process, poured manually into the moulds and the product is left to cure for 4/5 days so all the humidity can separate from the agglomerate.At the end of its useful life, the product can be recycled and crushed. This operation separates the marble powder from the other components, making it possible to recycle all the material.

THE PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELSLivingstone® is a product designed for being used with renew-able energy sources.In the electric version, the product can use clean, free energy from a photovoltaic system. All products in the Livingstone® line include a room thermostat that can be programmed weekly, for the 24 hours in a day.This intelligent thermostat not only adjusts the temperature for comfort, it is able to use energy from the photovoltaic system when it is available. The thermostat has a cable input to receive information that the system is producing sufficient energy.

THE RADIANT PANELLivingstone® is a product whose physical operating principle for heat transfer is by radiation. The heat is transmitted directly to the people, distributing the temperature uniformly across the room.The heat enters the rooms in the same way that the sun trans-fers its energy to us. Livingstone® brings the sun into your home.

THE RADIATOR THAT ACCUMULATES THE HEATLivingstone ® accumulates the introduced heat and release it "softly" to the environment, thanks to the inertia of the stone. The system can accumulate energy from a renewable source, such as a photovoltaic system, during the day and release it "softly" until the evening

PATENTED TECHNOLOGYLivingstone ® is a technology patented by Underleaf. The product and the entire process are the result of extensive experimentation in research and development laboratories where technology, product quality and respect for the environment have been combined with the objective of energy savings.

CONTROLLED HEATThe structure of the product was designed using the most evolved technology available on the market to best distribute the heat. The temperature sensors inside the product agglomerate control that the heat is correctly distributed and guarantee the best conditions for producing the radiation.

AS EASY TO INSTALL AS INSERTING A PLUGLivingstone® is a product that can be installed in a few minutes. In the electrical version, the product is fixed to the wall with two brackets, and the energy is received from the electrical power supply by connecting the plug with a socket in the electrical system. In the hydraulic version, the product is connected to the system with two manifolds.

INTELLIGENT THERMOSTATAll Livingstone® products, including the basic version, include a control thermostat. The temperature is always correct, guaranteeing a suitable degree of comfort without wasting energy once the desired tem-perature has been reached.When the temperature in the room reaches the desired value, the thermostat detects this condition and reduces the energy used to what is necessary to maintain the heat loss of the room towards the inside.

AN ALLY AGAINST ALLERGIESTraditional radiators transfer heat to the environment by circu-lating the air from lower areas to upper areas of the room. This phenomenon is known as convection and the resulting move-ment of dust, which can transport mould, bacteria or dust-mites, promotes the onset of allergies in sensitive individuals.Livingstone® is your ally against allergies, because it does not move the dust as the heat is transferred by radiation.

RADIATED HEATThe Livingstone® radiators use radiated heat. The temperature is uniform across the entire radiator surface and is transferred directly to the room via radiated heat. SWEET DREAMSSleep well, Livingstone® will silently regulate the quantity of heat needed in the room. With the “night mode” it is possible to reduce consumption during the night-time hours in rooms that are not used and in the bedrooms.

The product:The EasyStone range is distinguished by the linearity and simplicity of the forms, which is enhanced by the pureness of the white colour. It is provided in four different sizes, with a smooth surface finish. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

THE BASE LAYERThe Livingstone® product has been implemented by integrating the heating parts on a base ag-glomerate layer of marble powder and water.

THE HEATING CIRCUITThe heating part consists of an element in ultra-thin steel isolated in a sandwich, with a thin film that is resistant to high temperatures. The solution is the same used in the space sector for heating satellite parts and in modules in orbiting stations.

THE COVERING LAYERThe covering layer consists of a second cast of marble powder that completely covers the heating circuit, permitted direct contact between the heat-ing circuit and the other parts.

ENERGY CONSUMPTION ALWAYS UNDER CONTROLLivingstone® is able to offer a simple and precise control system that can autonomously manage the delivered power based on the momentary thermal load of the room, in order to achieve maximum comfort with reduced energy costs.

DESIGN BASED ON THE ENERGY CLASSWith Livingstone® it is possible to reduce the costs thanks to the use of cables with different load intensities. This makes it possible to in-stall a customised heating system based on the home's energy class.

CALCULATING THE THERMAL REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROOMThe first step for determining the correct power of the radiant panel for a room is to determine its energy requirement. If the energy class of the home is known (see figure below) the requirement can be initially approximated by the thermal requirement per square metre multiplied by the room surface:

Livingstone® is a product that was developed following numerous experimental tests in laboratories. These tests make it possible to produce the product with high levels of quality and reliability. The product has also been tested for various characteristics following the European standards indicated below.The product qualities have been checked by qualified bodies who certify the requirements of electric safety, electromagnetic compatibility, robustness, control optimisation, water protec-tion, ageing.

WARRANTY

SALES CONDITIONS

A two yearwarranty is provided for the Livingstone® radiator. The warranty is valid if the product remains intact without any tampering or changes, if it is delivered to the support centre or reseller with the original packaging. The warranty starts from the sales date. Therefore it is necessary to keep the invoice or receipt in order to prove the purchase date.

UNDERLEAF s.r.l. reserves the right to make technical-commercial changes at any mo-ment without the need to provide notice in order to improve the product, information and communication.Deliveries following orders will be carried out within the time periods defined by our sales office. Failed or delayed delivery does not provide the right to receive compensation for damage.

UNDERLEAF s.r.l. does not accept any responsibility for incorrect assembly and re-commends using qualified personnel in accordance with applicable standards. Correct product installation guarantees that it will last longer.

The Livingstone® product is a thermal-electric system and must be sized by qualified personnel. The incorrect sizing of the radiant section could cause uncomfortable con-ditions.

Installation must be carried out according to the specifications of UNDERLEAF s.r.l. using suitable supports. The installation of the product and its electrical parts may only be carried out by qualified personnel authorised to issue system conformity. UNDERLEAF s.r.l. shall not be liable for the safety and conformity of products that were not installed in accordance with the specifications and current standards.

UNDERLEAF s.r.l. products must be tested at the end of installation.

Any complaints resulting from transport damage must be reported at the moment of unloading. UNDERLEAF s.r.l. shall not accept any responsible for damage detected at other destinations other than the point of delivery. Any claims due to manufacturing defects must be reported via registered letter within 8 days of receiving the goods.

No compensation shall be recognised for direct or indirect damage that can derive from the damages listed above.ATTENTION: As this is an artisan product with an agglomeration of real stone, there may be differences in shades between different production batches.

Returns due to production defects must be authorised in writing by UNDERLEAF s.r.l. and must arrive with the goods carefully protected and packaged. No credit or reim-bursement shall be made for returned products with breakage or other for which UN-DERLEAF s.r.l. is not responsible.

If production defects are not found in the returned product, it will be returned to the customer, who will be charged for the transport costs.

The goods remain the property of UNDERLEAF S.r.l. until the invoice of reference and any late interest have been completely paid.
