To support advertising, marketing and sales staff in todays global economy, the Web Associate utilizes the understanding of distributed web services. Understanding and utilizing developed web applications is critical to finding new business for web design, Internet marketing, hosting, programming, and technology projects. Course activities build student skills in: identifying methods of security on the internet; creating electronic presentation output for delivery in a variety of file formats using digital images in computer applications that can be retouched added to and optimized; designing web pages and developing HTML code; creating animations and videos for print or web media purposes; and developing interpersonal and customer service skills in the workplace. The Web Associate program is designed to provide students the necessary knowledge and skills to hold web associate positions in the workplace.
