This term we are focusing on Diversity and celebrating our similarities and differences we share with each other and people from across our planet. We began writing letters to new friends in England and are looking forward to sending them off and receiving their responses. This week we started to look at different languages spoken around the world and had a small discussion on whether or not we should all speak the same language. This is in preparation for our persuasive writing task. I’m looking forward to reading the ideas of the children.

We have swimming for sport tomorrow. All children in years 2-6 will participate. Year one students in 2M will stay and participate in sport activities with 1W.

Canteen day has been changed and will be on Thursday of each week.
