1 TOM I L A AMAN E NHaving occupied various academic and mana- gerial positions at Aalto University in Finland, Professor Tomi Laamanen, who has doctorates in finance and strategy, was appointed Professor for Strategic Management at the University of St.Gallen in 2011. The findings from his research projects have been published in leading inter-national journals, for which he also serves as a reviewer and editor. In addition, he is a mem- ber of the Board of Directors at a number of companies and also works as a strategy consultant.

2 PH I LL I P C . N E LLPhillip C. Nell is a Professor of International Management at Vienna University of Economics and Business. He is also affiliated with the Department of Strategic Management and Glo- balization at Copenhagen Business School. Besides Copenhagen and Vienna, he has taught at ESADE Business School in Spain, Università di Padova, Universität Linz, and at VSE in Prague. Before joining academia, he gained considerable industry experience as a con- sultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

3 B JÖRN AM BOSPrior to assuming the Chair of Strategic Manage- ment at the University of St.Gallen, Professor Björn Ambos worked at the universities and business schools in Edinburgh, Hamburg, Milan, Florida, and Vienna. He gathered practical experience in performing management roles in Vietnam, Italy, Paris, and New York. He is the coeditor of leading international journals and author of influential publications, with his latest book being entitled Global Strategic Manage-ment.

4 BODO B . SCH LEGE LM ILCHAs Founder and Chair of the Institute of Inter- national Marketing Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Professor Bodo B. Schlegelmilch has taught executive edu- cation programs on six continents. He received Distinguished Fellowship of the Academy of Marketing Science and a Fellowship of the Char- tered Institute of Marketing. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Marketing, and worked for global Corpora- tions such as Deutsche Bank and Procter & Gamble.
