Motoristsareurgedtoremainawareofjammingdevicesusedbycriminalsatshop-pingcentres,petrolstationsandprimaryschools. Primaryschoolsaretargeted

becauseparentsexittheirvehicletowalktheirlittleonesintotheschoolgrounds,andthatiswhenthethievesstrike.

Checkyourvehiclemanuallytoensurethatitreallyislockedandverifywhichshop-pingcentersandgarageswithshoppingfacilitieshavethealarmswhichactivate,shouldajammingdevicebeused.Whenyouhearthesiren,immediatelycheckonyourvehicle.Mostimportantly,motoristsareurgedtokeeptheirvaluablesoutofsightbecauseifthesuspectscantseeanything,theywillnotbetemptedtobreakthewindow.Letsalwaysbevigilantandstaysafe!

CAMP-OUT REPORTBACKAfterbucketsofrainandovercastweather,Camp-out2016tookplace.WavesofGrade6and7learnersenjoyedanightoffunundertheBryanstonPrimarynightskyandmemoriesweremadetolastforever.

Theeveningstartedat4pmwithlearnersrushingtogetregistered,readytosetupcampandeagerfortheprogrammetostart.Withthehelpofeagerparents,tentswentupinamatterofminutes.

Excitinggameslikewriggle-wormandgiant-animal-charadeskepteveryonebusywhilethebraaiswerebeinglit.Theeveningwasenjoyedwitheagerbraai-masters,andhelpinghandsfromveryskilledstaff.

Thelearnerswentfortheirmidnightswim,whichtheyenjoyedfully.Afteralovelycool-down,thelearnersenjoyedtheirmovie(HotelTransylvania2).

Afteracupofhotchocolate,learnersgotreadyforanightofsweetdreamsandforsome,snoringthatescapedfromsometents.AfewlearnershadtoomuchenergyandstayedawaketilltheearlyhoursofSaturdaymorning.

Tickeygroup(18)wasreadywithdeliciousmufns,hotchocolate,toasted-sandwichesandeggrollstowakeupoursleepingbeauties.Abigthankstothisgroupformakingsureallbellieswerefull!

Tentswerepackedawayandlearnersgotreadyforthefunpartofthemorning;thechickenparade.Everyscrapofpaperwascollectedandplacedinthedustbins.ThankyouGrade6and7.Youwereafantasticgrouptohave.

Thiswasagreatexperienceforall.Teachersweretiredandwenthomeafteragreateveningofexcitement.Averyspecialthankyoutoalltheteachersandcleanersfortheirassistanceduringcamp-out.Afteralltheglowingfacesandgoodcamprestories,Iamgladtoannouncethat:Camp-out2016wasaroaringsuccess!
