Partnership with Boopsie ensures branded mobile apps of participating libraries connect to

partners with public libraries across North America, today announced a new partnership with

Boopsie, the industry-leading mobile platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider for over 2,500 library

locations worldwide. Through this new partnership, patrons using library-branded mobile apps

from Boopsie will be a tap away from hoopla digital’s app – and more than 170,000 popular

movies, TV shows, music and audiobooks.

The integration leverages Boopsie’s proprietary App Finder and Scheme Handler technologies

to seamlessly direct patrons of participating libraries to find, download and access the hoopla

digital app.

card-holders who use the service also avoid library late fees as digital content borrowing periods

simply expire without additional charges.

participating public libraries.
