Bodø Graduate School of Business (HHB) is one of three business schools in Norway. We cover busi-ness education, research, post-school training and business development located in the northern part of Norway. Today, HHB has approximately 80 academic positions and roughly 1.300 students distributed across bachelor-, master and Ph.D programs. We cooperate with many partners internationally and we have joint MSc-degrees with several universities abroad.

Businesses and public administration face an increasingly globalized and challenging world. Both domestic and international competition is fierce and characterised by rapid change. In order to prepare our students for their professional careers our curriculum and teaching methods emphasise innovation, entrepreneurship and an ongoing effort to rethink today’s practices in view of tomorrows challenges. As a

result, our business school is leading when it comes to innovation on both program levels and throughout our research efforts.

We think it is important that business students know how to start their own business, so they learn that on thebachelor level. We consider it important to integrate various business subjects to face turbulent markets, sowe have designed integrated courses and research projects. A variety of scientific methods are necessary forrethinking business practice, so we urge students, researchers and managers to be creative during their analytical efforts. We also believe businesses and students should know alternative perspectives to those presented by mainstream business textbooks, so we emphasise topics such as ecological economy, management control for the new economy, sustainable management, business ethics and philosophy, and innovation management.

Bodø Graduate School of Business offers several international business programs. For those who want a flexible program, we offer MSc programs where one chooses specialization.

We also offer executive MBA programs. Our High North Centre for Business has almost 20 years of experience in Russia and other high north countries, and have substantial expertise on chal-lenges facing the High North Region. Presently we educate managers of the Russian oil company Rosneft in cooperation with MGIMO University in Moscow and soon we will launch an EMBA together with Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).

In cooperation with universities in Russia and USA we also offer more specialized programs such as MSc in Energy Management and MSc in Sustainable Management which highly reflect the challenges we face globally and in the high north.

We appreciate your interest for the Business School of the High North!

I warmly welcome you to contact our enthusiastic team at the Business School!
