BRIDGE OF HOPE

Catholics across the world

watched with sadness as

flames recently tore through

the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris,

causing severe damage to the centuries-old

structure. The impact of the fire on the faith-

ful is immense and the full extent will not be

known for some time. The Basilica of the

National Shrine of the Immaculate Concep-

tion in Washington, D.C., has set up a fund

to help the Cathedral resurrect and rebuild.

If you would like to make a donation, please

make your check payable to the “Basilica of

the National Shrine of the Immaculate Con-

ception”; indicate “Cathedral of Notre Dame

Fund” in the memo portion of the check and

send to:

STEWARDSHIP BY THE BOOK

Blessed are they who have not seen and have believed,” Jesus says in today’s

Gospel. For those who have not seen to believe, however, we must be good

stewards of our faith, living it joyfully and sharing it generously. Then, in our time too, “men and women in great numbers”

will be “added to the Lord.”

Ministers to the Sick and

Homebound are

needed. Attention to all

Eucharistic Ministers: If you are a

Eucharistic Minister, you can participate in

the Ministry to the Sick. Appropriate training

will be provided by current and experienced

ministers. We need ministers for the

hospital for each day of the week, after the

first Mass on Sunday or after the 9am Mass

on weekdays. To do the entire hospital

takes approximately two (2) hours per day.

You decide which day you will be

available. Please consider participating in

this ministry, it will be greatly appreciated.

For more information, please contact Rosa

Rosario at 386-334-2004.

receive a pledge from all active house-

holds in our parish community. Pledge

$76,439.00 and have paid $52,822.27

towards our goal of $108,452.29.
