An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment

I embrace You as if You were already
there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from
You. Amen.

sponded to Our Catholic Appeal.
To date 198 parishioners have pledged
$76,971.75 and have paid $50,141.41 to-
wards our goal of $112,426.29.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDEON THE LIGHTER SIDE
A note from Fr. Tim:
Like many of you I’ve been
going thru old “stuff” that has
been sitting around for years. In going
through my “stuff” I ran across jokes and
stories that my mother had saved. I didn’t
even know it was in my “stuff”. So to lighten
up this difficult time I’d like to share with you
each week one of the little things I’ve found
from my mom.
Make a list of things you haven’t done
recently or have never done. Give
yourself a gift and do just one.
Life is not the wick or the candle. It is
the burning.
Some people give and forgive: others
get and forget.

Pray For Those Who Have Died
Love One Another As I
Have Loved You
It is this obedience that I
recommend very earnestly to you, joined with
that virtue which is a compendium of all the
others and which Jesus Christ so earnestly
recommends when He calls it His especial
commandment: “This is my commandment,
that you love one another”. (John 15:12) And
I wish that you preserve this union and lasting
love, not only among yourselves, but that you
extend it to all, and endeavor to enkindle in
your souls the lively desire for the salvation of
your neighbor, gauging the value of each soul
from the price our Lord paid of His Life’s
blood.
Prayer: Lord, you send us as you sent your
first Apostles on a mission of offering healing,
forgiveness and reconciliation to others “that
all may be one.” To do so, we need to be liv-
ing out the gift of your healing, forgiveness
and the life of your Spirit. Help me, Lord, to
know this well and to live it fully. Amen.
Easter Action: Take a few minutes to record
in your journal the five insights, feelings, or
experiences that were most influential for you
on this journey through Easter with Jesus and
Ignatius.
The parish office will be
closed on Monday, May
25th in observance of the
Memorial Day Holiday.
