INTERNSHIPS 2014-2015


CONCEPT

• Avanade offers internship assignments in Belgium.

• Avanade internships are specially designed to introduce final year Bachelor students to the Avanade global way of working.

• As Avanade interns, Bachelor students learn from and are coached by highly skilled and experienced colleagues in different professional environments across the Microsoft platform.

• Our interns have the opportunity to elaborate soft and language skills working in international and multicultural teams.

• They are trained in the tools and methodologies used by Avanade for projects at our customers.

• Avanade interns enjoy working in small and dynamic local teams, while profiting from the international structure of a global company.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Belgium/Ghent & Brussels

• Reimbursement of travel costs (preferably public transport or use of own car)

• Funding of use of company laptop provided by Avanade

• Students follow the Avanade labour standards

• Students are expected to travel to client site on a regular base

The working language in most locations is English (verbal & written) unless the project team decides otherwise

• As an intern on an App Dev project you’ll build high-performance enterprise applications based on the powerful Microsoft .NET platform, leveraging Avanade solutions, tools, and expertise to accelerate planning, streamline development, provide consistency and reduce costs.

Avanade’s portfolio of infrastructure services empowers companies to create dynamic workplaces that deliver greater business agility, faster time to value and improved operational effectiveness. We aim to improve end-user communication, collaboration and satisfaction while lowering costs with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync and Office 365.

Requirements

• A pro-active team player with excellent communication skills (English/Dutch/French) , a can-do attitude and a strong interest in infrastructure.

Objectives

• As an intern in Infrastructure you will be staffed on a project focussed on creating a modern workplace (desktop and workplace implementation) or on a project around Unified Communications & Collaboration (Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and Office 365).

Technology

• System Center Products (SCCM / SCOM / SCVMM / SCSM / SCO), Exchange Server, Lync Server, Active Directory Services, SharePoint Server, Virtualization technologies (Server and Application)

We will tailor Dynamics AX to match our customers needs so we can provide them with a single, integrated view across their business. This allows our customers to grow their business by taking the right decisions quickly and effectively.
