RADIO AIRPLAYFull charts available at www.themusicnetwork.com/charts

Shawn Mendes’ ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’ received 887 spins nationally this week, while Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’ was just five spins behind. Increased support for ‘Slow Hands’ – which sees it jump to #1 on the Hot 100 – has come from Nova and KIIS, where it sits in the Top 2 on both of the network’s spins charts.

Rudimental and James Arthur’s ‘Sun Comes Up’ experienced the most improvement across commercial radio, with an increase of 240 spins from last week.

As the #1 Breaker, The Chainsmokers’ ‘Honest’ looks almost certain to break into the Hot 100 next week with numerous radio networks already adopting the track, with more to come.

Following a period of writing and recording abroad, multi-platinum singer-songwriter and local favourite Vance Joy has today unveiled a brand new single, ‘Lay It On Me’, with an accompanying video. In a further treat for fans, the Melbourne musician has also announced two headline shows for this November, in both his hometown and Sydney.

‘Lay It On Me’ received its worldwide premiere via triple j’s breakfast team, and is the first taste of new music from Vance since 2014’s hugely successful, ARIA #1 debut album, Dream Your Life Away. The album is certified Platinum in Australia with 115,000 sales and includes the singles ‘Riptide’ (8x Platinum) ‘Fire and the Flood’ (3x Platinum), ‘Georgia’ (2x Platinum) and ‘Mess Is Mine’ (2x Platinum).

AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL CHARTS

Australia’s alt-pop favourites Tigertown have revealed their newest hit ‘Warriors’- the latest testament to the band’s knack for creating pop songs that feel huge and triumphant, yet all at once warm with an infectious and danceable energy.

The past 12 months has also seen the band crystallise their unique anthemic sound on the stage, invited to embark on a series of support shoes and tours with the likes of Troye Sivan, St. Lucia, Panic! At The Disco and MS MR, and release remixes for BØRNS, Troye Sivan, Group Love and Crystal Fighters.

In both title and sound, ‘Warriors’ is Tigertown’s most auspicious offering yet - a sign of their unrelenting momentum toward an even brighter future.

This week’s viral charts feature two of the recently dropped Tyler, The Creator tracks sitting at #2 ‘9/11/Mr. Lonely’ ft. Frank Ocean and at #3 ‘Who Dat Boy’. The tracks come from Tyler’s album Scum Fuck Flower Boy which drops July 21st.

Calvin Harris has taken the top spot on both the Shazam Future Hits and the Shazam Movers charts this week, with ‘Feels’ ft. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean.

In her official return to music, Kesha’s scorching single ‘Praying’ is gaining some traction on the Shazam Future Hits chart sitting at #7, and also taking the #4 spot on the Movers chart. ‘Praying’ is the first song from Kesha’s upcoming album Rainbow, which is out August 11th. It will be her first full-length album in five years.

The Rudimental and James Arthur collaboration ‘Sun Comes Up’ is also doing quite well; it’s sitting at #3 on the Future Hits chart and #2 on the Movers chart.

Billie Eilish has dropped yet another dazzling pop gem by the name of ‘Watch’.

The new single comes hot on the heels of the release of her official video for the Thirteen Reasons Why Netflix Original soundtrack song ‘Bored’ which premiered on Monday.
