    When C.H. Klein entered

banking in 1907, he began a

    lifetime commitment to grow a

strong and stable network ofcommunity banks. Over the

    years, banking has been tested

    with recessions, a depression,

    warsand, most recently, a

    challenging economy. All were

    situations that called for finan-

    cial and personal strength.

    These strengths guide how

    KleinBank is run today with

    responsible financial decisions

    that serve KleinBank cus-

    tomers, employees, and the

    communities we serve.

    Randy Haskins, a KleinBank

    Market President based in Buf-

falo, said, As one of the largest

    family-owned state banks in

    Minnesota with over 400

employees, 21 branches and$1.6 billion in assets, our cus-

tomers can expect to receive the

    executive attention that smaller

    banks provide, while still get-

    ting the financial security, tech-

    nology and quality products

    found at corporate banks.

Everything we do is a promise

    of honesty, integrity and an

intention to build relationshipsand maintain trust. It is that

    very foundation that enabled

    KleinBank to be nominated and

selected as a 2011 recipient of

    the Minnesota Business Ethics

Award (MBEA), and to be nom-

inated and selected as a 2012

    recipient of the Minnesota

    Family Business Awards

    (MFBA).

Randy went on to add that,

    Everyone at KleinBank makes

an effort to be involved in the

    communities in which they

work and live. We all understand

that a community with a strong

support structure is what helpsindividuals, families, schools,

    and local businesses succeed. I

    believe that the longevity of

    KleinBank is attributable to the

    people customers and bank

    employees. Were fortunate to

have customers that trust us and

are loyal. And, of course, we

    believe in building relation-

    ships and maintaining a strong

    community, because at Klein-

    Bank youre not a number,

    youre family.
