When you come to church, you don’t need to be experienced in the game of church. As a matter of fact, we try hard to ensure that nobody feels engaged in any kind of religious game. At Parkland, you don’t have to dress up in a particular uniform. You don’t have to be a particular age. Most of all, you don't have to feel the need to pretend to be anything other than who you really are. Just come as you are, pick up a cup of coffee or tea, and relax! One thing is for sure—no experience is necessary.

INFANTS, TODDLERS & PRESCHOOLERS (up to age 4) Every Sunday, we have childcare for infants as well as a class for toddlers (age 1-2) and preschoolers (age 3-4) throughout the entire service. For your convenience, there is a change-table in the preschool restroom, that parents are welcome to use. The preschool rooms are located next to the parent room, through the doors at the (east) end of the lobby.

KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 4 Children from Kindergarten to Grade 4 will be dismissed mid-way through the service for fun, age-appropriate, lessons and activities. Watch for the scrolling message letting you know when to go to your class.

GRADE 5 - 7 Xtreme Life The Xtreme life Sunday school class will start up in September. The grades 5-7 will be joining the adults in the service for the summer.

THE REST OF US You are invited to take some time to prepare your heart to give to God in worship.

FOOD BANK Thanks to the people of Parkland Church

who have donated so generously to Parkland's Food Bank. Thank you for your generosity, we have been able to help the

people in our community. However, our supplies are getting low, so donations would

be greatly appreciated. We are in need of: juices, tea, coffee,

pasta & pasta sauce, cereal, and canned dinners.

Church Directory We are updating our church directory. Please stop by the Welcome Table and update your contact information or add your contact information if you are not in the directory.

DID YOU KNOW that Parkland gives 10% of its revenue to local, regional and international missions? We support Diego and Claudia Diego in Medellin Colombia, Steve & Iryna Yagilnacki working with orphans in Ukraine, Elia Mendez and Templo Leandro Valle in Baja, Mexico, Tamra Escaravage in Los Angeles with YWAM, David Horita and Colin van der Kurr at FebPacific and Andrew Menary at Power to Change, as well as Esperanza, Pregnancy Options and NightShift (Parkland on the Streets - POTS), and also missions teams to Mexico and Esperanza, and individuals involved in missions such as Raj & Kim Vannadil in India, Maxwell Peacock in China, and Cora Tonn at Esperanza. Your donations to Parkland make all of this possible. Thank you!

East Africa Famine Emergency HOPE International Development Agency has been providing emergency relief supplies such as food and medicine in the areas where we work for more than a year. However, it is obvious that much more needs to be done. Your financial support is needed to ensure that we help as many people as possible. Your gift of $25, $50, $100, or what-ever you would like to give will ensure that someone will live through this crisis. Go to www.hope-international.com to donate.

Homestay Needed A family in our community is looking for a homestay next year for their 17 year old son. He is going to Johnston Heights Secondary School and is in grade 12. If you are interested in helping out this family, please contact [email protected] for more info
