Greetings to Membership,
Rolling Hills Golf Shop
April 1st, the Golf Shop will begin opening on Mondays from 12:00 till 5:00 PM through the golf season. Available
now in the Golf Shop are applications for: Men’s Member Guest, all Jr. Clinics, Club Couples, Match Play and
Member-Member.
Duke and Duchess
This is the 50th anniversary for this event. Applications are being mailed the first week of April, or you may sign up
in the Golf Shop. The is one of the finest golfing events in the entire state. I encourage all to sign up before the
May 1 deadline. If you have friends you would like to get involved in this tournament, please contact the Golf
Shop. We only have a few names on the waiting list so time is of the essence.
Golf Shop
Our goal is to be the one stop shop for all your needs whether you are interested in clubs, apparel, measuring
devices or anything golf related. If you are interested in a starter set or the latest offerings from major
manufacturers, we are here to service you.
New arrivals every week this time of year. JUST ARRIVED - Men’s and ladies’ shoes from FootJoy and
Nike. Adidas shoes coming soon. Also, Puma apparel for men and women along with Nike and FootJoy for
men. Adidas and Antiqua coming soon for the ladies.
Spring Golf Shop Hours begin April 8th
Monday 12:00 – 5:00 PM
Tuesday-Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Member-Member Tournament
The Member-Member Tournament will be Friday and Saturday, May 10th and May 11th. We will have Men’s and
Ladies’ divisions. Number of flights will be determined in multiples of six. If 25 teams sign up, we will have 4 flights
and one team on waiting list. Tournament will consist of five 9-hole matches with six teams per flight. We will play
three 9-hole matches on Friday and two on Saturday. Teams will shotgun beginning at 7:30 am each
day. Applications are available in the Golf Shop.
Club Fitting and Golf Instruction
Tired of hitting hooks and slices?? Contact Kevin in the Golf Shop and schedule your golf instructions for analysis
of your swing. Golf lessons are available Tuesday through Saturday. Call and make an appointment today. Lesson
rates are $50 for adults and $40 for juniors. Buy 5, get one free.
Club Fitting -- Do you know for sure you are hitting the flex shafts? Are you sure you are getting the most out of
your driver? Contact Kevin in the Golf Shop and sign up for driver, iron, fairway, or wedge fitting.

Titleist April 20, Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Match Play
Men’s Match Play will begin in May. Fee for this event is $20.00. Our goal is to have 40 plus participants. You
must have a valid handicap to sign up for this event.
Opening Day (Saturday, April 13)
Opening Day is our annual kickoff for the 2018 golf season. We will have a Meet and Greet for all golfers at the No.
1 tee box. Stay tuned for more details.
Men’s Member Guest
Applications are available in the Golf Shop for the Member Guest. 2018 Participants have priority until June
15. Upon that date, the tournament will be open on a first come, first serve basis. Deadline for signing up is July
10th. Fee of $300 is due when signing up.
Fall Finale (Men’s night scrambles)
Requirements to compete in men’s night scrambles:
• Must be 18 minimum of years of age
• Must compete in minimum of 12 events
• GHIN required
• Must be a member of Rolling Hills
Club Couples Tournament
The annual Club Couples will be Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and April 28th. Entry fee for this event is
$75. Entry fee includes dance, dinner and golf tournament. We hope to have the dance outside off the deck in the
tournament staging area, weather permitting. This tournament is open to married couples or members with
legitimate significant other. In addition, we will simultaneously host a separate 2-Person tournament for members
not playing in the "Club Couples Tournament." Both participants must be current members of RHCC. Tournament
play will begin with a shotgun start on Saturday at 12:00 Noon and on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Stop by the Golf Shop
and pick up your entry today.
Ladies’ Golf Clinic
Ladies’ clinics will begin in April. Clinics will begin at 5:30 on Tuesday, April 23rd and April 30th. We will spend time
on practice tee and short game areas. Fee for clinics will be $10 per session. Please contact the Golf Shop by 4:30
the day of to register.
Pee Wee Clinic
Applications for Junior Clinics are available in the Golf Shop. Ages for Pee Wee clinic are 6 to 8 years of age. Pee
Wee clinics are in the month of May on Tuesdays at 4:30. We will have clinics on May 7, May 14, May 21, and May
28nd. The clinic will last approximately 50 minutes. We will include full swing, short game, etiquette, and safety in
these clinics. Fee for clinic is $50.
Junior Golf Clinic
The Junior Golf Clinic will be Wednesdays in June and July. We will have two sessions:
8:00 AM - Ages 9-10
9:30 AM - Ages 11 & older
Junior Clinic will conclude with a Junior Event on Monday July 22nd. Fee for Junior Clinic is $70 per student.
Junior PGA Golf League - Back again this year, RHCC will have a PGA Junior League Golf team for 2019. This
team is for junior golfers ages 9 to 13, boys and girls. Team size is limited, so sign up early. Each golfer will receive
a PGA JLG jersey, PGA JLG balls and bag tags as well as instruction and up to six local team matches played at
local clubs this summer. Registration fee is $150. To sign up, go to PGA Jr. League. The password is rhccgolf.
This is a great opportunity for young golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the great game of golf in a fun setting with
friends. Golfers will get tournament experience as well as have fun and improve their golf game. We will be
competing with teams from Country Club of Paducah, Paxton Park, Drake Creek and other teams to be announced

Men's Night - Thursdays
It's the return of Men's Steak Night and Men's Scramble beginning Thursday, April 25th. Join in the fun of Thursday
night golf with the Men's Scramble. Sign up by 5:00 PM. To compete in the season-end Finale, you must play in at
least 12 Thursday night scrambles. Play a round and then grill your own delicious ribeye and enjoy baked potato,
tossed salad and garlic bread for only $12. Or choose a baked potato and salad only $5. It's an RHCC tradition you
won't want to miss.
Spring Membership Promotion
We are offering a Spring Membership Promotion during the months of April and May. We will waive the Initiation
Fee for all new members joining when they sign a two-year contract.*
New members can save up to $1,000.
WIN-WIN -- In addition, any Rolling Hills members referring a new member will receive a $100 gift card to be used in
the Rolling Hills Country Club bar or in the Golf Shop.
Membership applications must be received no later than May 31, 2019, to qualify.
*Members who left in last 12 months are not eligible for this promotion.
NEW -- Men's Golf Association at RHCC
An organizational meeting for a Men's Golf Association is set for Thursday, April 11, at 7:00 PM at the RHCC
Clubhouse. Initial objectives of the MGA will include the following:
• Running Thursday golf activities (golf scramble, skins game, hole-in-one club, etc.) with the goal of
improving all aspects for members enjoyment.
• Assisting in Thursday Men’s Night activities.
• Assisting the Pro Shop with tournaments and additional side games when applicable.
• Special projects around the club and grounds to improve appearance and overall experience of both
member and guests (who may be potential members).
If you are interested in hearing more about the Men's Golf Association, please mark your calendar to attend on
Thursday, April 11, at 7:00 PM. For questions, contact Kevin Rhinehart in the Golf Shop.
Masters Weekend - April 13 & 14
Catch all the excitement of Masters Weekend at Rolling Hills. We will have all the coverage on Saturday and
Sunday. Enjoy complimentary pimento cheese sandwiches (a Masters tradition) on Sunday afternoon starting at
2:00 PM. Bring your favorite appetizers to share.
Couples' Golf - Friday Nights
Friday Night Couples Golf kicks off on Friday, April 19th, 5:30 PM. This is one of our favorite nights at
RHCC! Couples may sign up in the Golf Shop by 5:00 PM. Cost is $5.
SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH, 10:00 AM
Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the Bunny trail, hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way...... to Rolling
Hills. We will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for all the RHCC kids and grandkids on SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH,
starting at 10:00 AM. And we will have a special visit from the Easter Bunny too. Kids, grab your favorite Easter
basket. Parents and grandparents, grab your camera. It's going to be a great time for all. There is a sign-up sheet
in the lobby of the Clubhouse. Or call the Office at 270.554.4508, Ext 1, to sign up. Please list how many children
and their ages. We will have different age groups for the Easter Egg Hunt.
If you would like to donate candy for the Easter Egg Hunt, we will have a box for donations in the lobby at the
Clubhouse. If you would like to volunteer to help with the Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, contact Rick Goins at
618.638.4542.
The fun continues on Tuesday nights in April -- BUNCO!!! It's fun the first time -- and every time -- you play. Watch

Ladies' Golf Association, Day League
The Ladies Golf Association, Day League, will kick off the 2019 season this month on Tuesday, April 2nd, with golf
starting at 10:00 AM every Tuesday in April. There will be a league business meeting at 9:30 a.m on Tuesday,
April 9th. followed by golf at 10:00 a.m. League sign-up sheets will be available at the meeting; fee for the year will
be $25.
If you are a new member or an existing member who is just now finding time to play during the day, the league
provides a great way to meet other members while enjoying a round of golf. If you have any questions regarding the
Ladies Golf Association, Day League, please call Nancy Ragland at 270-210-3772.
Senior Men's Golf Association
Weekly play on Tuesdays at Noon and Thursdays at 10 AM begin this week, weather permitting, at The Hills. If you
are interested in joining the Senior Men's Golf Association or need more information, please contact Don Korte at
270.564.6679.
Ladies' Golf Association, Night League
It’s been a long winter; and the Night Ladies are ready for golf! Night Ladies League play starts Tuesday night,
May 7th. A organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 at 6:00 p.m. at RHCC to sign up to become a
member of the Night League and the RHCC Ladies Golf Association. Dues remain at $25 this year and are payable
when you join the league. For the first 25 ladies signing up and paying, they will receive a 2019 Rules of Golf
book. We will also have a light dinner during the April 9 meeting.
For potential new members, RHCC Night Ladies Golf League members play nine holes starting at 5:30 each
Tuesday night. League play starts in May and ends in mid-September. The format for golf is typically a pick your
own team 4-lady scramble (if you don’t have a team, we will put you with one). Skill levels range from beginners to
more experienced golfers, and we welcome beginning players to join us. It’s a great way for a beginner to gain
some “no-pressure” playing experience while learning some of the rules and etiquette of the game.
Even though organized golf on Tuesday nights for the ladies doesn't start until May 7th, ladies are welcome to come
out any Tuesday night for a round of golf. We hope to see everyone on Tuesday, April 9 at 6:00 p.m. to sign up for
this year’s league!
Golf Course Usage Fee - Past Due
The annual Golf Course Usage Fee of $215 per membership was due in March. If you haven't yet paid this fee, it is
now past due. This fee is for all golfing memberships at Rolling Hills unless you rent a golf cart or pay a $10 rider
fee when you play. We will be sending past due bills to members this month. Please help us keep our costs down
and pay your fees today. If you have already paid your fee, you may pick up your tags in the Golf Shop.
Regrip for the season! Your grips are just as important as the ball you play or the shaft in your driver. Grip prices
range anywhere from $6 each and up, and price includes installation. For pricing and grip availability, contact the
Golf Shop at 270.554.3025.
