Greetings to the Membership,
Duke and Duchess
This is the 50th anniversary for this event. Applications were mailed the first week of April, or you may sign up in the
Golf Shop. The is one of the finest golfing events in the entire state. If you have friends you would like to get
involved in this tournament, please contact the Golf Shop. We only have a few names on the waiting list so time is
of the essence.
Member Member Tournament
The Member-Member Tournament will be Friday and Saturday, May 10th and May 11th. We will have Men’s and
Ladies’ divisions. Number of flights will be determined in multiples of six. If 25 teams sign up, we will have 4 flights
and one team on waiting list. Tournament will consist of five 9-hole matches with six teams per flight. We will play
three 9-hole matches on Friday and two on Saturday. Teams will shotgun beginning at 7:30 am each
day. Applications are available in the Golf Shop.
Pee Wee Clinic
The Pee Wee Clinics are on Tuesdays in May and begin May 7th at 4:30 pm. If you have not completed the
application in the Golf Shop, please call us so we will be prepared for you. The clinic will last approximately 50
minutes. Fee for Pee Wee Clinic is $50. All parents, grandparents, or guardians are welcome to watch. The clinic
will conclude on May 28th.
Match Play
Men’s Match play will begin in May. If you have not signed up, please contact the Golf Shop. Entry fee is $20 per
player.
Junior Golf Clinics
Junior Golf Clinics begin Wednesday, June 6th through July 17th. They will conclude with a Junior Tournament,
lunch, and awards on July 23rd. 9 and 10 year olds will be each Wednesday at 8:00 am to 9:00 am. 11 year old +
will be 9:30 to 10:30. All juniors are welcome to play after clinic. Fee for clinic is $70. Clinic will cover etiquette, full
swing, short game, and game management. The July 23rd clinic will be the year ending scramble golf
tournament. We will have lunch and trophy presentation that day.
Junior League PGA Update
Junior League competitions will begin in June and conclude in July. Our goal is to play up to 6 matches. It’s time
to get those juniors signed up for Junior PGA league. Matches will be 9 holes per event. Matches are comprised of
8 to 12 players per team. Fee for PGA Junior League is $200. Please sign up by May 6th so we can get jerseys
ordered for all players. Scheduled events* for Jr. PGA League are:

Ladies' Golf Clinics
Ladies' clinics have been very successful and enjoyable for me and hopefully enjoyable for you. In May, we will be
covering full swing and short game. Clinics will be Wednesdays on May 15th and 29th. Please call to register by
4:30. Fee is $10 per student.
Ladies’ Spring Tourney
The Ladies Spring Tourney is Tuesday, May 7th. Tournament will begin at 9:00 am. A sign-up sheet is available on
the bulletin board in the Ladies' Lounge.
Fall Finale (Men’s night scrambles)
Requirements to compete in men’s night scrambles:
• Must be 18 minimum of years of age
• Must compete in minimum of 12 events
• GHIN required
• Must be a member of Rolling Hills

MIZUNO - PING - CALLAWAY
This FRIDAY, MAY 3rd, join representatives from three of our favorite golf manufacturers from 2:00 to
6:00 PM at the RHCC driving range. Representatives from Mizuno, Ping and Callaway will be on
hand ready to demonstrate their latest and to answer any questions about their products.
2019 Club Couples Champions Rachelle & Matt Ihnen
The 2019 Club Couples Tournament was held on April 27 & 28, and what an exciting tournament it was. We
had a field of 48 teams; and after two days of play, defending champions Steve and MiLinda McGowan were tied
with former champions Matt & Rachelle Ihnen at the end of regulation play both having posted a two day total of
134. After a three-hole playoff, Matt & Rachelle won this year’s event. Finishing in third place was Mark and Tara
Moore. See the list of all the flight winners below:

Join us at Rolling Hills on Saturday, May 4th, for the 145th Run For the Roses. We'll be celebrating in "Kentucky"
style starting at 4:30 PM with Mint Juleps in the bar. Linda Curtis will be serving Kentucky Hot Browns along with
salad and Derby Pie for dessert -- $7.50 per person. Sign-up sheet is on the Bulletin Board. Deadline to sign up is
Thursday at Noon.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at The Hills on Sunday! We will be serving all of your favorite margaritas -- FROZEN -
PRESIDENTIAL - STRAWBERRY -- along with complimentary beef nachos.
New Members Meet & Greet Night
We are so excited to have new members at Rolling Hills, and we want to welcome you into the Club. We will be
hosting a Meet & Greet on SATURDAY, MAY 11, and inviting all "new" members -- members who have joined in
the last year -- along with our current RHCC members. We will have hors d'oeuvres and music -- and it all begins at
7:00 PM.
Friends VIP "Membership"
The best way to find out what RHCC is all about is to experience it first-hand. We love our Club and want to share it
with our friends, so we're offering a free ONE WEEK membership to try us on for size. Members can refer a friend
by calling the Office. The "new" members will pick a week that's best for them to use their membership. Try out our
golf course, tennis courts, pickleball courts, social activities, pool (when opened) -- everything we offer at
RHCC. Limited number of memberships each week. Offer valid until June 15th. No limit on how many friends you
can refer.
Spring Membership Promotion
This is the last month for our Spring Membership Promotion. We will waive the Initiation Fee for all new members
joining when they sign a two-year contract.*
New members can save up to $1,000.
WIN-WIN -- In addition, any Rolling Hills members referring a new member will receive a $100 gift card to be used in
the Rolling Hills Country Club bar or in the Golf Shop.
Membership applications must be received no later than May 31, 2019, to qualify.
*Members who left in last 12 months are not eligible for this promotion.
Men's Steak Night and Men's Scramble is here!!! Join in the fun of Thursday night golf with the Men's Scramble.
Sign up by 5:00 PM. To compete in the season-end Finale, you must play in at least 12 Thursday night
scrambles. Play a round and then grill your own delicious ribeye and enjoy baked potato, tossed salad and garlic
bread for only $13. Or choose a baked potato and salad only $5. It's an RHCC tradition you won't want to miss.
Couples' Golf - Friday Nights - 5:30 PM
One of our favorite nights of the week -- Friday Night Couples Golf -- gets into full swing in May. Couples may sign
up in the Golf Shop by 5:00 PM. Cost is $5. REMINDER: No Couples Golf on Friday, May 17th.
Ladies' Golf Association, Day League
The Ladies Golf Association, Day League, will host their annual Spring Tournament on Tuesday, May 7th, at 9:00
AM. There is a sign-up sheet in the Ladies' Lounge. Ladies' Day League golf is every Tuesday in May at 9:00 AM
starting May 14th.
Senior Men's Golf Association
Weekly play on Tuesdays at Noon and Thursdays at 10 AM every week, weather permitting, at The Hills. If you are
interested in joining the Senior Men's Golf Association or need more information, please contact Don Korte at
270.564.6679.
Ladies' Golf Association, Night League
Night Ladies League play starts Tuesday night, May 7th. Golf starts at 5:30 PM. Sign up in the Golf Shop by 4:30
PM. We will be serving hamburgers and grilled chicken after we play.
Dues remain at $25 this year and are payable when you join the league. For potential new members, RHCC Night
Ladies Golf League members play nine holes starting at 5:30 each Tuesday night. League play starts in May and
ends in mid-September. The format for golf is typically a pick your own team 4-lady scramble (if you don’t have a
team, we will put you with one). Skill levels range from beginners to more experienced golfers, and we welcome
beginning players to join us. It’s a great way for a beginner to gain some “no-pressure” playing experience while
learning some of the rules and etiquette of the game.
Pool Opens May 25th
The swim season begins Memorial Day weekend! We will be removing the pool cover soon and preparing for the
summer season and opening on Memorial weekend. Pool hours for the Memorial Day weekend are:
Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Monday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
BACK this year -- Member ID Cards
RHCC is again using photo ID cards for members using the swimming pool this year. All members ages 12 and up
will be required to show their ID cards in order to use the pool. If you still have your card from last year, you do not
need to get a new one. To obtain your ID card, you will need to email the office at [email protected] or call the
office at 270-554-4508, Ext 1, to request your cards. If you do not have a picture on file, you will need to have your
picture made at the Clubhouse or send us one via email.
Guest Policy
Rolling Hills Country Club is a private, members-only club, and generally guests are NOT allowed at our pool. This
year we will continue to allow members to buy up to two guest cards. Each card allows five visits and costs $50
($10/visit). Guest cards can be purchased at the bar. Non-member guests are only allowed two visits per month.
Guests are NOT allowed on Sundays or holidays.
Local guests are NOT permitted with the following exceptions: A Member sixteen (16) years of age or older may
bring a date to the pool. Member must accompany the guest on the premises.
A Member cannot babysit Non-Members at the pool, but a Non-Member can babysit a Member’s child. The
babysitter must sign in with the guard.
Adult children of Members are NOT allowed at the pool except as a guest when the Member is present. Members
can host with their grandchildren any day, but the Member must remain at the pool at all times.
Non-members found at our pool in violation our guest policy will be asked to leave.
Members will be required to show their Member ID cards at the gate. If they have a guest, the guest must sign in at
the gate with the lifeguard.
