Anointing of the Sick Oct. 19th & 20th This sacrament will take place this weekend October 19th & 20th during the Masses. In Marks Gospel, Jesus sends his disciples to anoint the sick with oil and St. James reminds Christians that the sick should have the priests pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. This sacrament confers a special grace on the Christian experiencing the difficulties of grave illness or old age(Catechism of the Catholic Church). We are doing this at Mass because it is the prayer of the whole Church for our sick brothers and sisters. Also, please be seated at the end of the pew so the priest can reach you. If you need help the ushers will be glad to assist you. If you are unable to attend, and would like to receive this sacrament, please contact the rectory at 330-825-9543. May God bless us all with health of mind, body and spir- it. +Fr.
