Land measurement: Land measurement of our area at Ananda Nagar was done for demarcating the land for plantation priject.

Land demarcating Land demarcating was done by using JCB machine at Koushiki area of Ananda Nagar for boundary demarcation and fencing.

Seminar held at Ananda Nagar: 1st Diocese Seminar was held at Ananda Nagar on 11th July to 13 July 2014. More than two hundred persons attended in this seminar.

Narayan Seva (Mass Feeding): Narayan Seva was organized by Volunteers Social Service Department at Guridih, Ananda Marga Junior High School. Nearly five hundred people werefed.

Electrification in new areas at Anandanagar Fourteen places at Anandanagar were not having any Electric connection from the Government’s Electric Department. These are :

Page 4 Apart from these places following four villages of Jhalda II Block were also perused for new electric connection which are

1. Maramu-Bhuchungdih 2. Samla Tanr 3. Khepiakuli 4. Khatanga Bhuchungdih

We had provided Solar electric lamps to the villagers last year, After our repeated persuasions the Government’s Rural Electric Department is fixing electric lines to the units without any expenses from our side.

Seed distribution

Ananda Marga Farm department have distributed total 27 quintals of high yielding paddy seeds (rice) to 103 poor farmers of Kamalapur, Maka, Chirkamu & Bali village. This will make them become self sufficient in respect of food.

Medical camp Ananda Marga Medical Department of Ananda Nagar Have organized a Medical Camp at Guridih village on 19 July. About 90 villagers got benefited. On July 26 another Medical camp at Damru village was held. About 75 patients got benefited.

Page 6 Plantation During this rainy season, plantation is going on in full swing. So far about 22000 plants have been planted at places like Koushiki, Guridih, Nowahatu and Talmu villages. School children are eagerly participating in this plantation.

Special features of Ánandanagar
