  • King James the second took great interest into colonies mostly for the money from the taxes.

3. When king's power was being challenged some colonies who still favored the king lost their charters. 4. During this same time some English officials are being sent home by force because of the taxes they enforced. 5. Atlantic

  • Trade line in the Atlantic helped spread news.

6. The main thing the colonies traded was tobacco and sugar, at least until the wheat market expanded and then they switched to producing more wheat. 7. This lead to an increase of wealth in the colonies and also lead to women in the colonies expressing themselves through shopping. 8. New World

  • The rumor of people going to the new world to escape religious prosecution is a false fact. The did come to the colonies to set up their own institution which did persecute people who were not of theirreligion.

9. Since that was the case the main focus of a town was the church. 10. As the colonies expanded so did the amount of churches 11. War

  • The imperialists that were colonizing at the time who ever controlled the native population of Indians controlled the new world.

12. This theory would be tested in the French-Indian war which the French and the Indians attempt to defeat the American colonies of Britain. 13. The war was won by the Colonialist and the British forces.
