to: - have lots of stories read to them and discuss the

pictures which will help to develop their vocabulary - sharing books, films, hobbies, interests etc, will help to

develop their language & listening skills. - learn that reading in English is from left to right - know the letter sounds (phonics) - learn that print is different from pictures
