The story of Ali Baba and Aladdin has a lot of similarity’s and differences.

Some of the similarity’s are they both have caves in them. Ali Baba has a cave in it with treasure, so does Aladdin but the cave in Aladdin was made of sand.Both story’s have thief’s in them. In ali baba there were 40 thief’s and in Aladdin there were a bunch of thief’s.

Both story’s have tricksters. In ali baba it is Moradon, in Aladdin its Aladdin..Aladdin tricks people and gets out of situations.

Some differences are ali baba has a secret cave that will only open if you say a secret phrase.’ Open sesame’.

In Aladdin nobody dies, in ali baba the king dies in the secret cave.Aladdin had a genie in it, the genie was in a lamp in a secret cave made of sand. ali baba didn’t have one.

As you can see Aladdin and ali baba have a lot of differences and a lot in common.
