the southern Red Sea.

Closest Airport King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) is the nearest airport to the resort. The travel time by car

to and from the airport can take between 25 and 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Passengers with special needs are well catered for at King Hussien International Airport. Airport

staff can assist special needs passengers with courtesy wheelchairs and personal assistance.

Passengers who are visually impaired are also assisted by the airport team.

Transportation The resort provides transportation and assistance from and to the airport; however there are no equipped cars for the guests with special needs. Taxis are also available who can assist passengers on wheelchair. 3.0 Public Area

3.0 Common Areas and Other Facilities The Business Centre is conveniently located at the lobby floor beside the ZARA Souk. The AVIS office is located across the Business Centre. Meetings Rooms are also located in the lobby floor area – all accessible by physically challenged guests.

4.0 Leisure and Recreational Facilities Swimming Pools and Jacuzzi There are three outdoor pools and Jacuzzi at the resort. Walkways with ramps are available around the resort to access these facilities. Pool depth is the same at 1.6 meters.

Beach The private beach is 150 m in total length with three jetties in the area – 2 floating and one made of concrete. Guest on wheelchair can also access the beach through the pathway.

Kids Club The Kid’s Club offers a separate kiddie pool and indoor and outdoor play area. The Kids Club is accessible by physically challenge guests either through Sejan to its’ main door or walkway which leads to the kiddie pool area.

ZARA Spa Tala Bay Zara Spa Tala Bay is located by the resort main entrance beside the gym. From the lobby, guests will go out the Bab el Harrah to reach the spa. Spa is accessible via ramp for guests in wheelchair, though mobility inside the spa can be limited.

5.0 Public Toilets Handicap toilets are available in the lobby floor and outlets including Najel, Sejan and Casalingo.

6.0 Guestrooms Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba has a total of 306 rooms which are located at the North and South wings of the resort. From the lobby area, guests can access the North Wing from the right side and the South Wing from the left. Elevators are available to bring to the designated floors. Corridors are accessible by wheelchair.

Handicapped Rooms Two rooms are dedicated for guests with reduced mobility. The guestroom and toilet doors are wider at 105 cm. The area of the rooms is the same as superior rooms at 34 sqm. Facilities inside the handicapped rooms are adopted for physically challenged guests.
