BENEDICTION
POSTLUDE “Rigaudon” Andre Campra
1 John 1:5-10 (NKJV) “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God
is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do
they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Announcements for September 23, 2012
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY
Volunteers are needed for a fantastic outreach opportunity. This will be an after-school program at Western Sky Middle School on early release days. Volunteers are needed to supervise kids in the gym with sports, to help and supervise kids in the computer lab, to tutor students in subjects in which they need remediation, and to play games with kids. It will be a wonderful time to share your talents and your gifts with a middle school student. The first two dates will be October 4 and October 5. We need LOTS of volunteers for this to be a success! Please sign up in Souers Hall if you are interested.
OPEN HOUSE TODAY and September 30th
!
Come take a look at areas of the church that you may not see very often! Next month you will be given the opportunity to complete The Church at Litchfield Park Properties Survey regarding various aspects about the church property. We are having an open house TODAY after each service to provide the opportunity for you to see the Watt House and Thrift Shop, classrooms and restrooms. You will have a second opportunity next Sunday. Volunteers will be at each door of the sanctuary as you leave the service today to provide you with self-guided tour information. The tour will prepare you for the questions on the survey that will be available beginning October 7th.
