Time to start thinking about the Ft. Worth Rod and Custom show. I e-mailed a link to "list"

www.txshowcar.com it has all the info and entry forms. Be thinking about it, I think we will have 8 slots

this year on first come first serve basis. Mail the entry packages ( entry form, photo, check for $40 made to

Texas Show Car ) to me for consolidation for the club entry. Mail to : Bill Roy 301 Frazier Dr. Hurst,

Texas 76053. So far we have 4 signed up: Jay Redmon, Jeff Cassell, Alan Pound, and Jerry Jackson we

need the other four to fill the exhibit.

The Dyno Challenge got a lot of boasting going on. So the "Wanna' Race" trip was planned and now re-

scheduled. Hopeful a spring time frame and venue will settle all the talk of Who's the fastest?

December NTC Rally Point was the year end Dutch treat luncheon 12/13/08. We met at Papas B-B-Q res-

taurant in Dallas. Recognition to the 2008 event co-coordinators and volunteers that keep NTC rolling. It

was a great turnout and some good laughs to finish the year. Next get together will be in Ft. Worth for

the kick off meeting and Ft. Worth Rod and Custom Car Show 2/28/09. Tom Potts handed out some flyers

on 24 hours of Lemons, those interested contact Tom.

The kick off meeting will be at the Rail Head B-B-Q restaurant 1 block south of I-30 on Montgomery at

11:00 . Hope to start the new year with lots of NTC folks.

For those that want to use a forum, Texas F-Body has welcomed us to use theirs. It is www.texas-

fbody.com You must register ( it's free ) and within a day you can post and reply to any generation of "F"

body car forum. There are discussion, classified ads, and updates on the 5th gen Camaro coming our way.

Check it out.

Dues for 2009 will remain $20. We will begin collecting dues 1/1/09. They will be past due 3/15/09.

Make checks payable to "BOB SENICH" and mail to Roger Jackson % North Texas Camaros at 2420 Vista

Glen in Carrollton, Texas 75007. DO NOT make checks payable to NTC or North Texas Camaros.

I need some more feature cars,

let me know if you are interested in being the

feature car in the monthly newsletter.

Let's Fire 'em Up in 2009.

Featured Car Questionnaire

How did you acquire the car?

Bought 6 years ago from Ivan Green’s Classic Dealership.

How long have you owned the car?

7 Years

Anything interesting happen during your acquisition or ownership of the car?

Went to a bad body shop originally who messed the car up to the point I almost

sent it to the junk yard. I have pictures showing the bad work. Like welds

so bad that body putty oozed through the holes in the quarter panels. If anyone

wants to know which shop it was let me know and I will send you a link to

the pictures of the car and their work and you can be the judge.

What would you do differently with the car?

Not take it to the first body shop, I would have went directly to Todd/Chris first

at Advantage. Otherwise, the car is the way I want it, except the possibility of

putting fuel injection on it.

Any company or service that deserves high praise for helping with your car?

Todd and Chris from Advantage Autoworks –

They did a top notch job fixing up a lot of mistakes.
