In Memoriam

William D. “Don” Stewart, 84, died on Wednesday, August 17. He was a member of Clear Creek Christian Church where he had served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He is survived by his wife, Iris; one son, John Mark; one brother, Bob Stewart; and several nieces and nephews. 1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

CPC Walk for Life

The Crisis Pregnancy Center is going to be celebrat-ing its 25th anniversary of serving the community; and the Clear Creek Christian Church has been a part of their ministry of honoring the personhood of the unborn. Their annual Walk for Life will be Satur-day, October 1, at the Christian Life Center begin-ning at 9:30 a.m. You may pick up your pledge sheet at the Welcome Center in the CLC. You do not have to be present on October 1 to take pledges. You can walk any time.

Senior Citizens’ Potluck Luncheon

The September Senior Citizens’ Potluck Luncheon will be Monday, September 19, at 12:00 noon in the CLC. Bring a dish to share, your table service and drink.
