They are all about to embark on something completely new whether that be college, the workforce, or taking time off to discover their dreams and the world around them. There are so many roads available to explore and so many that beckon although they result in dead ends. However, there is one thing we can be sure of: “All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies” (Psalm 25:10). To all you recent grads, I encourage you to trust in the Lord and rely on Him for all things. Put your faith and hope in Him, and He will never lead you astray. As some of you already know, I am a big believer in the faith that God has shown us to make our own decisions, our own choices. Quite possibly my favorite verse is from the Old Testament in the book of Joshua. Chapter 24 verse 15 reads, “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Life is all about choices. You reap what you sow. I will be in constant prayer for all of you to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:1-3). A NOTE FROM THE YOUTH MINISTER...

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” --Robert Frost “The Road Not Taken”

What a beautiful time it is for those that have just graduated.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Life is all about choices. You reap what you sow. I will be in constant prayer for all of you to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:1-3).

NEW ADDITION TO THE LIBRARY...

“Sheer curtains have been added to the windows in the church library in memory of Nelle Widner and Ethel Strickland, Mary Larrabee’s mother. The fabric for these sheer curtains had been picked out by Nelle Widner just about two weeks before she became ill and went to Heaven. The sewer is happy to have finally made these and placed them in the library to honor the memory of these two sweet ladies.”

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
