Joint Project with Lions Club of Miri Host and Leo

Club of SMK St. Columba : Visit and Donation to

Sunflower Centre

14thApril 2016

This project is aimed to expose the Leos to the world ofspecial children in the Sunflower Centre to inculcate the

spirit of love and care amongst the special children andLeos. This project was also a joint project with Lions Club ofMiri Host and Leo Club of SMK St. Columba. The Lions andLeos were brought for a tour around the centre by the chiefof the centre, Mdm Liza Chai. Before the Leos left, the LeoClub President of Kolej TDTH Bujang, Leo Colin Lee, handed

over cash worth RM200 whereas the Leo Club President ofSMK St. Columba, Leo Joyce Chin handed over cash worthRM300 to Mdm Liza Chai as a donation.

Our schools Sport Day was held at Stadium Miri. Teachersand students had fun and it was a great way to build a

good relationship among the schools community.

Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor

4th 6thJune 2016 Held at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor. Our key officers and 3

Leo members attended as participants. All of us had a greatfellowship with all Lions and Leos. The talks were motivating

and building. During the fellowship that was held for District308-A2 during the day, our club was awarded the certificatesof the Leos who were given the Excellent Leo Award. A totalnumber of 43 Leos from our club were awarded the ExcellentLeo Award. During the banquet night, our club and all of ourkey officers were awarded with:

An orientation for the Incoming key officers for our club forfiscal year 2016/2017 was held. The current key officers forthe fiscal year 2015/2016 guided the incoming key officers

their duties they will need to fulfill as the incoming keyofficers of the club.

On-going Project: Recycling Project

23rdJune 2016

This project is aimed to encourage students,teachers and staffs of Kolej TDTH Bujang to recycle

the recyclable items as habit in their daily life to

save the environment. After a few months of thisrecycling project, which is on going, we receivedgreat support from school community and manageto collect a lot of recyclable items such as papers,books and boxes. Leos worked together to clean

the recycle area to provide more spaces for moreupcoming recyclable items. A total amount ofRM47.00 was received by selling the recyclables.

Handover Ceremony

29thJune 2016

An award presentation and handover

ceremony was held during our schoolsassembly and was witnessed by all theteachers and students. Our principal, Miss

Hasimah gave away the award certificatesto the award receivers and Past President

Leo Colin Lee handed over the ChampionClub Award plaque to Miss Hasimah. Theimmediate past key officers handed over

the clubs files to the new key officers.

Dear all, thank you for giving me this chanceto become the President for this Leo Club. I

am really honoured to have served as thePresident for the Fiscal Year 2015-2016.

Without your support, we would not have thechance to obtain numerous awards, namely

the Champion Club Award. It has been a

long journey, and we finally reachered theend of the fiscal year and also my last few

moments as an Alpha Leo. I hope that the

Leo Spirit in me never ends, and I promisethat I will continue serving the community

wherever I am. Also, congratulations to all theincoming Key Officers for the Fiscal Year

2016-2017. All of you were chosen primarily

because of your continuous hard work and
