Using her authentic and comical outlook on life, local girl receives thousands of online votes to win trip to Los Angeles and opportunity to tour television set

Winter Park, FL – January 5, 2013 - Mia Gabriel never thought she was lucky enough to win a pencil, much less a trip to Los Angeles and the chance to tour a television set simply by be-ing honest.

As a Facebook follower of MTV’s Awkward, one of her favorite shows, Gabriel noticed an an-nouncement to win a trip to visit the Awkward set and to meet the actors. Thinking she had no reason not to try, but with no expectation of her submission even being seen, Gabriel followed the necessary steps to enter by submitting a photograph of her-self with a caption of why she should win. JOBLARK FOUNDER HONORED AT ALMA MATER

Distinguished Business Alumni Award Goes To Scott Frazier

Cambridge, Mass., February 15, 2013 – On an ordinary afternoon in 1979, a Harvard Busi-ness School graduate decided to spend his last $500 and start a computer business in his apartment. Scott Frazier, one of the founder’s of Joblark turned his $500 into a successful multi-million dollar company and the start of a long career in business.

Frazier will be awarded the annual Distinguished Business Alumni Award for innovation and creativity from the Harvard Business School. The Alumni Award recognizes business alumni that have exhibited outstanding achievements in their professional careers. Frazier is being honored at an awards banquet Friday, February 15 at Cambridge’s Revere Hall.

Scott FazierCo-founder of Joblark

With more than five decades of experience, Scott Frazier is a pioneer and industry leader in the research, development and marketing of business products.

His passion for business began at an early age when he started his first lemonade stand in Highland, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a degree in economics. He furthered his education at Harvard receiving an MBA.

Following graduation from Harvard, Frazier worked developing new products and businesses that he would sell. After more than a half century, Mr. Frazier has earned countless awards and recognitions from international, national, state and local governments, dignitaries, clubs and individuals who have praised his contribution in the development of business technology. Kendall FazierCo-founder of Joblark

Kendall Frazier plays a key role in the development and success of Joblark. It was through his encouragement and brainstorming that Joblark was born.

Frazier earned his Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, before earning his MBA from Harvard, following in his father’s footsteps. He has won count-less awards throughout his schooling and has been internationally recognized for his business intellect. Frazier recently founded a non-profit organization called Help for Haiti.

Eric ShelleyCo-founder of Joblark

Eric Shelley serves as the technology mastermind behind Joblark. He received his Bachelors and his Masters in both electrical engineering and computer engineering, along with a computer science Ph.D. Shelley and Frazier first brainstormed Joblark be-fore bringing Frazier’s father onboard. Shelley has said this team is the best he’s ever worked with, citing their passion and enthusiasm for technology and business and their driving force. His love of American history led to the foundation of his children’s after-school history program that has been launched in Utah, Nevada, and Oregon and is looking to expand to the East Coast this fall.
