TEXAS 4-H OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP The 2018 Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship Program application have been re-leased. Texas 4-H Youth Development Program Opportunity Scholarships are aca-demic scholarships awarded each year to applicants based on their academic rec-ord, 4-H experience, and financial need (for scholarships for which it is a required criterion). The Texas 4-H Youth Development Opportunity Scholarship Program is conducted by the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation. All applications must be submitted through the applicant's county Extension office and meet all criteria to be considered.

Texas Farm Bureau is committed to the development of youth and youth leadership. That's why we invest in our youth.

Texas Farm Bureau devotes a large amount of resources towards youth programs and scholar-ships. Annually we award over $200,000 in scholarships in a variety of packages designed to meet different student needs. This includes various youth leadership organizations and students participating in our Free Enterprise Speech Contest.

NATIONAL 4-H CONFERENCE

Applications are now being accepted in 4-H Connect through December 15. Conference is held at the National

4-H Conference Center in DC and provides 4-H members the opportunity to assist in the development of recommendations to help guide 4-H Youth Development Programs nationally and in

their communities. 2018 dates are April 7-12.
