She was born November 25, 1957 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Willie and Beatrice Plowman Hurley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Evange- list Ministry. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She was a native of Estill County, born October 20, 1925, a daughter of the late Henry and Dorsie Howell Powell. She was a retired employee of the Marcum Wallace Memorial Hospital and a member of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church. Ms. Noland was preced- ed in death by her brothers, Edward, Rodney and Henry Wallace Powell; and her sis- ter, Elizabeth Powell Fox. Born March 15, 1939, at Furnace, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jesse Foster Sr. and the late Carrie John- son Foster, and he served as an Army Security Agency Courier in the United States Army. Tommy was retired from Armco Steel where he worked in the chemistry lab. He was a member of Bowen First Church of God and en- joyed fishing, hunting and his passion, gardening and cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents; two broth- ers, Edward Clay Foster and Larry Gale Foster; and two sisters, Alfreda McDowell and Bonnie Smith. Tommy is survived by his wife, Janice Foster; one son, Darren Foster (Leisa) of Nicholasville; two daughters, Susan Henry of Stanton and Tina Judy (Robert) of Fair- field Township, Ohio; one sister, Betty Faye Daniels (Robert) of Franklin, Ohio; five grandchildren: Tiffany Ann Koopman, Karie Fos- ter, Miranda Minor, Jessica Minor and Matthew Minor; a step-grandchild, Destiny Riley; and two great grand- children, James Koopman and Emma Parsley. Ed proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a beloved fixture at the Bowen Elementary School, serving as custodian there for seventeen years. Vernon, Ken- tucky, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Rockcastle Re- gional Hospital with his wife by his side. He was born in Estill County, on April 3, 1938 the son of the late William Arthur and Stanley Reed Tipton. He was a retired employee of IBM, Lexing- ton and NAACO, Berea and was a member of Liv- ingston Baptist Church. He was a beloved husband, fa- ther, and Papaw. He will be remembered for his love for God, for his family and for all children, and, of course, for Kentucky Wildcats Bas- ketball. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Tipton; his children, Billy and Michelle Tipton of Eddyville, Vickie and Gary Howard of Harrods- burg, Leslie Tipton of Win- chester, Lori Gill of Berea, Melissa and Ronnie Owens of Somerset, and Melody and Chastity Ware of Cali- fornia; siblings, Norelyne Goodlett and William Ken- neth Tipton, both of Lexing- ton, Eldean “Peggy” Hall of Nicholasville, and Jerry and Betty Tipton of Win- chester; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Tipton of Nicho- lasville; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Darleen worked for many years as a teach- ing assistant at the former Hargett Elementary School where those who knew her expressed many fond mem- ories. She was a member of Bethel Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Virgil and Bertha Singleton Freeman, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Elbridge Estes in 2009; one son, Ronnie Dale Estes in 2017, four sisters: Carlie Frances Baker, Core- na Ann Steinmetz, Pattie Marie Freeman, and Betty Freeman; and two brothers: Elbert J. “Bud” Freeman and an infnat brother Dewey Freeman. Darleen workedformanyyearsasa teach-ing assistant at the formerHargettElementarySchoolwherethosewhoknewherexpressedmanyfondmem-ories.ShewasamemberofBethelChristianChurch. Inadditiontoherparents,VirgilandBerthaSingletonFreeman,shewasprecededin death by her husband,Charles Elbridge Estes in2009;oneson,RonnieDaleEstes in2017, foursisters:CarlieFrancesBaker,Core-na Ann Steinmetz, PattieMarie Freeman, and BettyFreeman;andtwobrothers:Elbert J. “Bud” Freeman

She is survived by herson,HerbertClift(Regina),FayetteCounty;onesister,WavaleneCrockett,FayetteCounty;onebrother,Ches-ter Rogers, MontgomeryCounty; three grandchil-dren: Lindsay Rose, JoeCliftandDianaOliver;and
