Kids ages 7 and under will search the pool for jingle bells to receive a special gift from the tree. Bring your camera to get a picture with Santa and a bathing suit and towel for swimming. Kids’ Castle BabysittingBabysitting is available for annual members’ children ages 1-9 years on a first come, first serve basis at no charge. Non-annual members pay $4/child. We maintain a 1:10 staff ratio with a maximum of 30 children per hour. Maximum stay is two (2) hours and parents must remain in the building. Hours and guidelines at fallsnat.com.

Karate KidsGeared for ages 7-9 years. All sessions are taught by Black Belts. Sessions are held on 8 consecutive Saturdays, 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Additional class fee and Natatorium membership required.

Youth Fitness - Fit KidThis program is geared to youth ages 8-13. Weekly classes and youth circuit workouts are held in our private youth fitness center. All youth programs are taught by certified fitness instructors. A testing assesment at $10/person is required prior to starting & includes a workout shirt. Natatorium membership required.

Private/Adapted LessonsCost: $30 residents/annual Natatorium members, $40 nonresidentsPrivate and adapted swim lessons are 30 minutes of one-on-one instruction for all ages. These tests have proven valuable in detecting unrecognized problems in individuals. All 5 screenings are $149 or call the Quirk Cultural Center for special package pricing. Halloween Creative Writing ContestEntries Due by Friday, September 30Aspiring Middle School and High School writers needed! Do you have what it takes to out scare your friends? The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the 29th Annual Halloween Creative Writing Contest. Spooky poems or short stories of 350 words or less can be submitted to any English teacher between September 12-30. Entries have to be typed and include a cover page with a title, author’s name, school, grade, and English teacher’s name. Trophies will be awarded October 28 for those who dare to scare!

Community BandQuirk Cultural CenterThe Cuyahoga Falls Community Band consists of 45 musicians of all ages and walks of life, directed by Kristan Crane. They perform a variety of standard band literature at a medium to high difficulty level. Audtions not required. Rehearsals are on Mondays after Labor Day until before Memorial Day from 7-8:30 pm with concerts in the parks in June and July. Dust off that instrument and come play!

Community ChorusSummit Christian School (Newberry Park)The Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus is turning 30! The 2016-2017 season marks the their 30th Anniversary under the auspices of the Cuyahoga Falls Parks & Recreation Dept. Under the direction of Ted Shure, now in his 13th season, the Chorus has performed for a sitting president (George W. Bush) at the Ohio Theatre in Playhouse Square, featured on WOIO, Cleveland 19 News, & have annual performances at the Holiday Tree Festival in the John S. Knight Center, the opening of the Ice Rink at Falls River Square, the Oakwood Cemetary for the Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Observance, the Survivor’s Dinner for Relay for Life, performing the national anthem at an Akron Rubberducksgame, & a vareity of retirement and nursing homes. The Chorus also performs regularly at the Cuyahoga Falls Library & St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7 pm starting Sept 12 & take place at the Summit Christian School (former Newberry Elementary School), 2800 13th St, Cuy Falls. Do you love to sing?
