Students schedules are not going to be the same from one week to the other as we organize classes in block, one seminar being taught after the other. This might be unsettling at first to have on some days 3 to 6 hours with the same faculty. ~Nathalie The module format is to study one subject (class) intensively. The lectures are three to six hours long per day for one subject. The Entrepreneurship module is made up of 3 days of introduction through the MIME method and group projects. Slide 12 Studies and Academic Program French Language Courses You will take a placement exam in Dijon and placed in a French class at your level. If your major has a language requirement, this class will partially fulfill the requirement. Recommended: Unless you have no prior French, you can take a before and after language test at the Murkland Language Center to test out of a semester of language. You may wish to take French 401 the fall before you go to France and finish your language requirement in France. Note: If you have had 2 or more years of French in high school, you must take French at the intermediate level to fulfill the requirement. Slide 13 Cultural Visits Students visited in the previous years Day trips: Beaune and the wine area: visit Hospices de Beaune and Chteau de la Rochepot Northern Burgundy: visit Abbaye de Fontenay, Semur en Auxois and Flavigny Champagne, Jura and Beaujolais regions 4 day trip: 2014 ProWein, Dusseldorf, Germany, Wine Industry Trade Show School welcome organization, Melting Potes, also organizes a spring break trip for a reasonable rate. In the past students have gone to Munich and Strausborg.
