Who we areThe Fairfield Arts and Convention Center is a gathering place designed to showcase a world of art and culture. This beautiful facility, featuring the Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts, delivers a rich and diverse Artist Series and continues the tradition of welcoming national touring performances and local artists to the Sondheim Center stage that amaze, entertain and inspire. This complex is a place where friends meet in great fellowship and joyous occasions. The Center features an exposition hall, flexible meeting space, an elegant conference room and galleries which all provide a sophisticated backdrop for meetings, weddings and special events.

The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center is home to the Fairfield Iowa Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Fairfield Art Association

By the Numbers• 7 Artist Series performance sellouts• 22 Artist Series performances exceeded 75% of total seats • Total value of tickets sold $327,387, 12% increase from 2012 • 21,994 tickets sold at 123 ticketed performances and events • Patrons from 43 Iowa counties, 32 states and District of Columbia• More than 30% of ticket patrons visited from outside Fairfield• Mailed 15,000 Artist Series brochures in 30 mile radius of Fairfield • Hosted a total of 1343 events, 70% increase from 2012 • Welcomed 11 wedding receptions and 5 wedding ceremonies, 3 celebration of life events, 90% increase from 2012• Hosted 141 events and meetings in Exposition Hall• Hosted 60 Great Prairie Area Education Association meetings and events• 233 volunteers providing valuable contributions for performances, weddings and special events• 3104 volunteer hours, valued at $68,723 by the Corporation for National & Community Service• 150 Art Classes at the Fairfield Art Association
