Dear Supporters,

Thank you for giving and living united in 2013. Your involvement in Great Rivers United Way spans across the Give Advocate Volunteer theme and is positively felt every day.

We end 2013 with successes and great plans for the future. In 2013 you created an incredible fundraising campaign, launched a new Get Connected volunteer online presence and you have been spreading the word about Great Rivers United Way throughout the five county region. This truly is YOUR United Way!

As United Way launches into its 65th year of living united in the coulee region, we look forward to new and impactful opportunities to promote the common good. We hope you will join us on this journey. Since the beginning days of a Community Chest, this organization has been at the core of the community and the future holds much of the same. With your continued support, Great Rivers United Way will carry on in this spirit.

Great Rivers United Way is a connector and a conduit to helping improve people’s lives and thereby strengthening the communities it serves. This happens in different ways. Great Rivers United Way partners with many organizations to produce the COMPASS NOW needs assessment; publishing results every three years. It is this connection that drives programs that address these needs.

Bringing together programs with funding raised from the community is only part of United Way’s story. It is with great anticipation that we look to the future of Great Rivers United Way and writing more of the story.

There would be no story, however, without you –without funding partners, program partners or the business partners. Thank you for being a part of United Way and making this organization the success that it is; success in 2013 and success in the future.

Sincerely,

Mary Kay Wolf
