House Four – Berkeley, California
Designed for a young professional couple, this modest 1,800 SF residence sits on a quarter acre site that drops 60 feet from one corner to the other. Completed in 1984, this project was featured as a home on the modern tour in Berkeley, California in 1985.

National Service Industries - Atlanta, Georgia
Erwin Zaban, who began working at Zep, Inc. after dropping out of high school at age 15, later took over the business, which merged with National Linen Service in 1962, to become National Service Industries Inc. (NSI). By that time, Zep Manufacturing Co.’s business had expanded into a full line of cleaning and sanitation products.

Kilpatrick Townsend – Atlanta, Georgia
The firms of Kilpatrick & Cody in Atlanta and Petree Stockton in Winston-Salem merged their well established firms in early 1997 to form Kilpatrick Stockton. On January 1, 2011, Kilpatrick Stockton and Townsend and Townsend and Crew merged to form Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.

The Home Depot – Atlanta, Georgia
In 1989, Farrington Design Group was engaged by the growing bib box retailer, Home Depot to design their new headquarters. Using products from their stores, we designed the space for under $ 25.00 RSF and completed the project in six months.

Greenberg News Networks – Atlanta, Georgia
In 1981, Greenberg took over as publisher of Esquire magazine. Greenberg then founded Greenberg News Network, building a medical education and healthcare news organization, which was purchased by WebMD. Based on this assignment, our firm went on to complete more than a half dozen assignments for WebMD in three states.

Collins Digital Imaging – Atlanta, Georgia
Collins Digital Imaging began as Franklin's Copy Service, Inc. in 1971. In 1976, Hal Collins realized he had a formula for success which could best be marketed by franchising. In 1996, he sold the seventy franchise chain to ICED. The project pictured became the home of Collins Digital Printing in 2002.

Sun Microsystems – Vienna, Virginia
Sun Microsystems was a company that sold computers, computer components, computer software, and information technology services. Sun was founded on February 24, 1982. On January 27, 2010, Sun was acquired by Oracle Corporation for $7.4 billion, based on an agreement signed on April 20, 2009.

Sheltering Arms – Atlanta, Georgia
In 1888, a group of Atlanta women formed a sewing circle at the First United Methodist Church's John Barclay Mission to mend the clothing of street children. Inspired by the spirit of Roberto Ferruzzi's painting, Madonna of the Street, the women chose the name Sheltering Arms in 1890 for their child care work.

Health Images - Alpharetta, Georgia
FarringtonDesignGroup designed this building for Health Images, who was at the time the nation's leading provider of fixed-site, out-patient magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services. The project was designed and completed in an 11 month period including the approval of Mobil Land Corporation, the business park developer.

FDIC – Atlanta, Georgia
An independent agency of the federal government, the FDIC was created in 1933 in response to the thousands of bank failures that occurred in the 1920s and early 1930s. Since the start of FDIC insurance on January 1, 1934, no depositor has lost a single cent of insured funds as a result of a failure.

Civic Network Television – Washington, DC
Civic Network Television, now defunct, engaged Farrington Design Group’s Washington DC office to design their headquarters in the District. Working in a limited ceiling height building the traditional ceiling panels were omitted and the structural system was exposed. This solution allowed the space to feel less confined.

Weller Residence - Barnesville, Georgia
This one-of-a-kind residence sits in a grazing pasture in Barnesville, Georgia as a modern statement among the horse barns of the neighboring properties. Occupied by a single gentlemen and his three European automobiles, the functional layout supports his daily activities.

Neteffect Corporation – Atlanta, Georgia
NetEffect Corporation operated as a network solutions company which designs, implements, and manages networked applications and technologies to financial services, telecommunications, and retail industries. Completed in 2002, the project was a complete modular solution.

Pacesetter Steel Service - Kennesaw, Georgia
In 1997, after 17 years of tremendous growth, Pacesetter Steel Service relocated its corporate offices to our current location in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb just north of Atlanta. Many associates who helped build Pacesetter Steel Service from its early beginnings still work for the company.

Premiere Technologies - Atlanta, Georgia
Beginning in 1989, we worked to create the new headquarters for Premiere Technologies. Starting with 11,000 SF in the Lenox Building, the project eventually grew to over 80,000 SF in a three year span. In 2007 we designed the new project when the company launched Premiere Global and moved to the Terminus Building.

Arcapita – Atlanta, Georgia
Arcapita operates out of four offices in Bahrain, Atlanta, London and Singapore. The Bank has a paid-in capital of $311 million, of which 70% is held by over 300 prominent individuals and institutions mostly from the Arabian Gulf region.

St. John Baptiste High School – New York City, New York
St. Jean Baptiste High School was founded as a parish high school in the Archdiocese of New York in 1929 and is directed by the Fathers of the Blessed Sacrament and administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of Notre Dame. The staff is comprised of religious sisters and dedicated lay men and women.

WebMD – Santa Clara, California
WebMD is primarily known for its public Internet site, which has information regarding health and health care, including a symptom checklist, pharmacy information, "drug information", blogs of physicians with specific topics and a place to store personal medical information.

Ansley Park Residence - Atlanta, Georgia
This project was a renovation of an existing mansion on The Prado. The back of the house was removed and expanded to include a new kitchen and family room. Upstairs the bedrooms were enlarged and a wine cellar was included in the basement. Completed in seven months, the project made room for the expanded family of the homeowners.

Balentine & Company – Atlanta, Georgia
In the later part of the last century we had the opportunity to provide design services to Balentine & Company when they took the top two floors of the Pinnacle Building in Buckhead. This successful assignment lead to the long term relationship with Robert Balentine and Jeff Adams. In 2008 we completed their new offices in the Sovereign Building. 1999
Savannah Christian Church - Savannah, Georgia
Savannah Christian Church first met on Feb. 9, 1964, in downtown Savannah. In May the charter membership roll showed 149 members. Our Henderson Campus at 55 Al Henderson Blvd. includes a 1,300-seat Worship Center, a coffee bar, The Source bookstore, classrooms, and offices.

DeKalb County is Georgia’s third largest county with more than 700,000 residents calling it home. The County consists of a portion of Atlanta, Avondale Estates, Chamblee, Clarkston, Decatur, Doraville, Dunwoody, Lithonia, Pine Lake, Stone Mountain, Tucker and several unincorporated areas.

In 2000 we began working with senior management on the Atlanta headquarters for Rayovac. During the design process the company name changes to Spectrum Brands. This was the first of six projects we have completed for the client including the new 220,000 SF headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin that will be complete in 2013.

AIG traces its root to 1919, when American Cornelius Vander Starr established a general insurance agency, American Asiatic Underwriters, in Shanghai, China. Since then, an enterprising spirit, ingenuity, and tenacity have built the company into one of the world’s leading insurers.

For Optimus Solutions, now Softchoice, being a North American Solutions and Services Provider is about one thing: building great customer relationships by making it simple for organizations to use technology to grow their success. Prior to the merger, we completed the headquarters of Optimus Solutions for $ 20.00 SF.

Norfolk Southern Corporation – Atlanta, Georgia
Norfolk Southern Corporation has been our client for nearly nine years. We have completed projects in Roanoke, Norfolk and multiple projects in the Atlanta area. Currently we are undertaking a restack of the existing building at 1200 Peachtree where we are improving the space utilization by 10%.

With more than 125 years of experience, NCR actively pursues visionary thought leadership in the field of customer interactions. This project was designed to allow customers to experience the types and breadths of products offered by NCR. Based on the success of this project, Farrington Design Group was engaged to complete a project in Singapore.

133 Peachtree Street - Atlanta, Georgia
Georgia-Pacific Tower is a 212.45 m (697.0 ft) skyscraper in downtown Atlanta. It contains 52 stories of office space and was finished in 1982. In 2009 Farrington Design Group participated in a real estate proposal with CBRE to reposition this tower to compete in the new millennium against new downtown towers.

NCR – Singapore
After completing the Center for Excellence in Peachtree City, NCR enlisted Farrington Design Group to design and document a similar space in Singapore. The project design was completed in the duration of five weeks. Working via webcasts and email our project team, in conjunction with NCR ,delivered the 25,000 SF space in record time.

Pensacola International Airport – Pensacola, Florida
In 1935, the first civilian passenger terminal was opened. Two years later, the first airline service began. However, Atlantic and Gulf Airlines then went out of business only a few months later after failing to be awarded an airmail contract. In 1938, National Airlines began service out of Pensacola Municipal Airport to Mobile and Jacksonville.

As part of the former Swedish Nobel Industries, AkzoNobel can trace their history all the way back to the 1640's. Their own proud history starts in 1898 when Alfred Nobel, the founder of the Nobel Prize, was among those who started EKA -Elektrokemiska Aktiebolaget. AkzoNobel is now a leader in chemicals for the paper industry worldwide.
